I agree with your suggestion. He’s been a decent governor in my opinion. Should have focused on finishing that job and supporting Trump. Would have set him up in a much stronger and better seasoned position in 2028.

Yep, he was doing fine until he let the RINO “king makers” whisper sweet nothings in his ear. They seduced him away from where he belonged, and now they’ll destroy him. They wanted to use him to derail Trump’s campaign, and then either cast him aside in favor of the democrat or control him if by some miracle he defeated the vote-fraud machine. But it’s obvious that he’s having zero effect upon Trump, so that plan is evaporating before their eyes. So DeSantis has destroyed the political career he had firmly in hand in pursuit of one that he had no hope of obtaining, instigated by the usual RINO suspects. What a fool.

The DeSantis approval collapse is all attributable to his embrace of neo-con advisors.
If he’d waited until 2028, he could’ve easily garnered much of the populist Trump support.
This has been a strategic disaster.

Exceptions to the current rule were last expanded in 2018. Before then, candidates for president and vice president were exempt from resign-to-run laws altogether.
No special law or amendment had to be passed for him to remain as governor while running for president or vice-president. Candidates for President and Vice President were already exempt before 2018, but the qualifying period wasn't clarified until this legislation.
Casey is a Hillary wannabe who told Rhonda how to pronounce his name. She’s running the show and the voters deserve to know that.
