New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) says he may open Gracie Mansion, the residence of the city’s mayor, to newly-arrived border crossers and illegal aliens — an offer never previously made to homeless New Yorkers.
During a press conference on Monday, Adams was asked whether he would open his residence to migrants after he announced a plan that would have New Yorkers being paid by the city to house border crossers and illegal aliens in their homes.

We both know those who hijacked this government at every level want to erase, change or destroy our history, our monuments, our holidays, our religion etc...
Gracie Mansion doesn’t belong to you Mayor. It belongs to the people of New York City. They are your landlords.
He'll put them in the servant's quarters. Like Upstairs, Downstairs, he won't even see them.
Some ARE criminals, etc.
All I’m saying is that the proportions thereof are way lower than the near-100% of the American “homeless”.
Same thing with the New York State Executive mansion in Albany. At one time during the regular financial crises that occurred while Mario Cuomo was in office, he proposed turning the mansion over to a not-for-profit group, for them to run. I remember sending a letter to the editor of the New York Post attacking him over it. They published it, and others I sent during his years in office.
Your home is your castle. Time to put up a crenellated curtain wall around it, and add a gatehouse with a Barbican onto your home, to include murder holes, portcullises, arrow slits, and traps.
Had to look up crenellated. Good choice of words.
OTOH...this area is where VERY wealthy people live and some of THE most elite private schools are located. This will NOT go over well, with the populace there.
EXACTLY and it HAS been designated as an historical site.
It’s a nice-looking mansion from the outside.
This is what I was thinking too. Same goes for City Hall, if he is thinking of putting them there.
Granted, not all of the damned ILLEGAL ALIENS in NYC are violent; however, beyond being criminals just by how they got there, almost ALL of them daily commit some kind of criminal act...women strap babies and even children as old as 3 to their backs, go stand on highways and streets and ILLEGALLY peddle/intimidate drivers stopped for red lights or slow traffic, to buy juice and fruit and/or prostitute themselves and/or very young children. Then there are the public drunks and dope pushers, the members of MS-13, who brutally kill others and rob,the rapists, muggers, and almost everyone of them have/are in the process of destroying the hotels they are being put up in. They throw away perfectly good food and then cook, on sterno stoves or worse, food that they've stolen. And on and on and on! Just read the local NYC newspapers for a slight taste of the goings on!
I probably read your letter, as I always read LETTERS TO THE EDITOR!
There are pictures of the inside on line, if you are curious.
I've been inside Gracie Mansion and it's an amazing place!
Gracie Mansion is the mayor’s official residence. It’s city property, not his.
All part of fundamentally transforming America.
Destroy everything historical and that gives us identity as a nation. Same thing they are doing with our holidays and replacing them with their own, like Juneteenth and Kwanza.
True; however, we all need to fight against this!
You can bet they’ll be screened to get the best at doing laundry, cleaning house, lawn & landscape work, etc.
In other words....slaves.
👍🏻
Had to be the late 80's or early 90's. I used to pick up The NY Post before I headed into work each day. When I got to work, if I wasn't hit with something I had to deal with first thing, I'd sit down and read The Post, and turn on Rush.
