The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) pistol brace rule that would see millions of Americans become felons overnight was dealt another devastating blow in a Texas District Court. Gun Owners of America (GOA), Gun Owners Foundation (GOF), and the state of Texas successfully won a preliminary injunction (PI) against the new regulation.
“For these reasons, the Court GRANTS IN PART Plaintiffs’ Motion for Preliminary Injunction, (Dkt. No. 16). Defendants are ENJOINED from enforcing the Final Rule against the private Plaintiffs in this case, including its current members and their resident family members, and individuals employed directly by the State of Texas or its agencies. The preliminary injunction will remain in effect pending resolution of the expedited appeal in Mock v. Garland,” the order reads
The victory comes one week after the Firearms Policy Coalition successfully secured a preliminary injunction from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals for its members against the ATF overreach.

“Three Injunctions Now Block ATF’s Pistol Brace Ban, Protecting Members of Three Gun Rights Orgs”
Ammoland has an updated article this morning.
LOL....they want your FREEDOM. Wrong to think ATF is worried about revenue.
GOA does more work for gun rights than the NRA does. Proud to be a member.

Can you post the link?
I have family in NJ.
There has been so much about this subject but this news is good to hear.
Why should anyone be forced to mark up their weapon just to own a brace is ridiculous.
>>However, it just applies to Texas from what I’ve read
Whenever an Obama judge issues an injunction, they always make it nationwide. How many times did Trump get blocked by that commie judge in Hawaii?
NRA spends lots of money on mail for fundraising.
“That still requires you to be in a covered state. I am a member but live in Nevada, so not covered.”
I’m not a lawyer and I’m not trying to get into a legal argument, but the FPC is contending that since they are a listed plaintiff to the case, all members of FPC are covered under the injunction.
From what I understand, a massive, if not majority of their money goes towards fundraising. I'm a member of GOA, JPFO, and NRA.
SBRs have been illegal without a tax stamp for at least 30 years, or close too it.
You can own a SBR, you just gotta pay for it.
It is unconstitutional, yes, but that’s how it is.
Your point is moot since there is no “freedom” at stake here. That was lost in this case years ago.
Yes and not all of the people. Only State of Texas employees, GOA and GOF.
Why not all citizens of Texas. We are the ones footing the bill for this. Just another loss for the State of Texas justice for the people.
