“Chick-fil-A, Inc.’s commitment to being Better at Together means embedding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in everything we do"

Dan Cathy went woke quite some time ago. This apple (Dan) fell quite a distance from the tree (Truett).
“E Pluribus Unum” (the national motto) was chosen as the opposite of this diversity nonsense. The Scotts and Irish considered each other different races at the time.
Its not the direct money.
Try applying for an SBA loan, commercial line of credit from a federal reserve bank, or get venture funding from Blackrock or Nuveen without policies AND PRACTICES (paid warm bodies) fully supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Socially Responsible Investing has been around for a long time — the first mutual funds with stated exclusions (no tobacco, gambling, or alcohol companies) were marketed to Baptists and Lutherans as good places for christians to put their money. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) filters on investments are fairly new and a spin for commies on Socially Responsible Investing, but are completely different than Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
P4L
One reason why every “believer” should have a LLC that has its own bank accounts and credit cards.
The one type of legal “person” without a hand or forehead.
They are being forced by government edict, employment laws and all-out legal intimidation. In other words, physical violence. The pressure and threat apparently have overwhelmed them.
Interesting idea; at least for the short term
Sounds like the start of a Red Chinese-style "social credit" score that will soon be applied to all Americans.
This was when I bailed on Chick-Fil-A. Haven’t been back since.
...playing with fire. Fast food is a dinosaur in general and there’s other options to get a chicken sandwich, they aren’t THAT special. Kinda like lite beer...
“Kinda like lite beer”
Kind of like 90-95% of everything.
That is to say, unless a thing serves a function it is not necessary.
These knuckleheads better wake up.
Same with buying other artisanal products.
It's so frustrating -- liberals have great taste & style when it comes to food, music, arts, etc. If only they simply stuck to that and stayed out of politics or religion.
Whenever possible now, I shop from my faith-based community. Luckily, the younger ones have acquired greater material sophistication while retaining their moral & spiritual values. For example, I just bought 2 lbs. of gourmet coffee from my friend's nephew. Up yours, Starbucks.
I still shop from Amazon, though guiltily. Usually, however, it's for emergencies or hard-to-find products.

Exactly. This whole “Land of the free home of the brave” stuff is 100% horse hockey.
Another woke go broke will be happening.
Kongrats ChicfilA. I will never buy another product from you.
Never cared for them. Went once back when they were playing at being conservative but immediately dumped them when they were rude, messed up the order and really messed up what it was they threw in the bag. It was so inedible the dog wouldn’t go near it. Never again.
Fag-fil-A. They chose their side in 2018 when they stopped donating to Fellowship of Christian Athletes and started donating to a pedo-priest founded runaway shelter.
Then told us to shine BLM shoes during the 2020 black terror riots.
Walked away in 2018.
“***Chick-Fil-A is merely trying to survive in a world where if you do not play along, you get crushed.***”
Baloney. When the homos attacked Chik fil A in 2012, Christians and normal Americans FLOODED in and remained loyal. But Fag-fil-A decided they wanted to operate in democrat areas, and on Universities so they threw their lot in with the enemy.
They are no different than any other chain now. It’s delusional to pretend they are conservative, Christian, etc.
