I think it is more of a”sicko mom” problem. For many years we have heard of “stage mothers” who have to live through their children. The moms are attention seekers who live though kids.

It is too bad that we don’t hear this Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy term very often. If this was talked about more the public would be more alert and not taken by surprise by this insanity.
