EXCLUSIVE: Fox News has learned that more than 100 former Trump administration officials have formed a growing coalition backing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to be the Republican Party's 2024 presidential nominee.
According to multiple sources within the group, officially known as "The Eight-Year Alliance," DeSantis is "a proven winner," a contender with a depth of policy proven by what he's accomplished at the state level, and a leader who "does what he says."

What if... in a few months, DeSantis takes Tim Scott as VP candidate...abolishing Demo. race card...
People life this stuff they love to not think.
You miss-spelt “moron” when you chose your screen name - so it’s hard to take your posts seriously.
Ron won’t even win Florida.
Tell me, did you know at the time when Trump made appointments some of those people would attempt to undermine, compromise and overthrow Trump?
This would explain all the backstabbing while he was President.
LOL...good one..
It’s LAUGHABLE how many on this board WHINE about Trump’s choice of personnel. The whiners probably claim to be conservative if that term has an ounce of meaning in 2023. How many on the board were celebrating in 2016 when Trump chose Jeff Sessions, a guy who may have had the most solid “conservative” credentials in anyone in congress?
I, too, thought Trump hit it out of the park when he chose that little fella to be his AG. How wrong were all of us who cheered that appointment! Whether you call it Swamp, Deep State, or Uniparty, Little Jeff showed his true loyalty when he chose to recuse himself WITHOUT even conferring with Trump or doing the honorable thing of offering his resignation.
Sessions was an insider enough to know THEN what has been
VERIFIED in the Durham report which was this was an ORCHESTRATED attempt to remove Trump and the leader of the orchestra was named as Obama by Durham.
I’m not sure if Trump chose badly or his choices to pick from were mostly bad. I thought the Freedom Caucus boys Mulvaney and Meadows would serve Trump well. They were mostly disappointing.
Speaking of Freedom Caucus boys, so was Ron.
“Can’t name any Freepers but I’ve seen never Trump posts on FR.”
Cite one.
BINGO!
It's a buzz word which means zip. These posers used the same "Conservative" buzz word with Bush then Cruz...
You have RNC troll written all over your posts.
Steve Mnuchin,Barr, Pence, Mulvaney, Mattis, Sims, Bolton, Wray, Milley, Fauci, Brix, Scaramucci, John Kelly, Cohen, Griffin, McMaster, Tillerson, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Ty Cobb, McCabe etc.
Legislature - Give us the legislation that we want and we'll change the law to let you run for POTUS.
Ron - Okay!
They got the law they wanted, he got a law changed and they simply move on to the next governor or him again if he loses.
And the same old consultants all go home with their fat wallets...again.

A new poll out from Richard Baris shows that Trump is undoubtedly in the lead in the 2024 presidential race in the Rust Belt states. Trump leads the GOP primary field with 67.5 percent, and DeSantis comes in a distant second at 17.1 percent.
Trump also leads President Biden in the poll, showing that likely voters prefer Trump to Biden 46.9 to 38.1 percent. Among those likely voters who were polled, 7.5 percent say they would opt for a third party candidate, and 7.4 percent are not yet decided.
If DeSantis were to be the nominee, according to likely voters, Biden would take the lead in that context. Rust Belt voters polled said that they preferred Biden to Florida's anti-woke governor DeSantis, 38.3 percent to 33.9 percent. In that case, more than 13 percent would opt for a third party while 14.4 percent stated they were undecided.
Yes you were! In fact begging more like it.
TexasGator is the biggest never Trumper on FR and Huff Po. And anyone who drives a POS Ford Mustang is sure to be a YUGE never Trumper.
So sick of Trump excuse. Some leader who didn’t have a clue about anything obviously.
And many of those same people would find their way to a job in a DeSantis administration. There probably aren’t more than a handful of people in DC who aren’t part of the Deep State.
I believe in evolution.
Bushbot=Cruzbot=Ronbot
It seems we came aboard FR about the same time.
We’ve seen the same folk, making the same mistake.
“TexasGator is the biggest never Trumper on FR and Huff Po.”
You can not cite anything to back up that post.
“And anyone who drives a POS Ford Mustang is sure to be a YUGE never Trumper.”
Jealous of my 750 hp!
