When do we get to stop pretending this is a Ukraine/Russia war and admit it is a Ukraine/Neocon proxy war?

Sadly, you are so correct. Many are probably long term members, but I suspect many are paid to offer pro Uke opinions.

“...Anyone who talks about Putin as “Vlad” is a creep.”

Who would have ever thought that Putin-the KGB boy would have so many fans on FR? Of course, some are actually Russians who are very jealous of Ukraine’s superiority.

The reality is Russia does not belong in Ukraine.

False...the Soviet construct that you call Ukraine has always been Russian, and the notion that the Russians have no business there is absurd.

Just like they’ve been losing the battle of Bakhmut.

Russia doesn’t belong in Ukraine but America belongs in eastern Syria, stealing their oil by monthly military escort through Kurdistan.

I and others told you those national security implications, which are vast, a hundred times.

That was pearls cast among swine.
Intelligent discussion was met with:
“homos, nazis, biolabs, America attacked Russia, Ukraine is part of Russia, WW3, Klaus Schwab,
neocons ....”

Funny how the Russian propaganda constantly changes.

But here goes, just to shove it your eye one more time.

1 In the modern world “thousands of miles away” is practically next door.

2 That America has vital economic, military and liberty imterests in Europe is obvious.

3 Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe after Russia

4 Ukraine is the breadbasket of Europe.

5 Ukraine holds an incredibly important strategic position next to Poland and others.

6 If Ukraine falls, Poland and Germany are next.

7 Ukraine is vital for energy and energy connections for Europe.

8 Putin wants Ukraine for its strategic position, resources, industrial base and manpower.

9 If you witnessed the debacle that flowed from Afghanistsn, which included the invasion of Ukraine, the fall of Ukraine in Europe will be devastating, leading to the invasion of Taiwan, more war in Europe, and probably WW3.

Now, the points above are called intelligent discussion and reality. You and the other fools who slobber about “Vlad” here, don’t deserve it.

That’s all I want, peace.

Besides the basically ethnic cleaning of Ukr people this is causing (maybe 1 million total killed, wounded military and civilians you have 10,000,000 Ukr civilians who have fled the country likely never to return) this thing always has the potential to spiral onto disaster. Alex Mercouris said some estimate there is now less than 20,000,000 Ukrainians left in the entire country:

1. Nuclear war
2. Wider fighting that could effect oil supplies or food supply
3. One of those big nuclear power plants get damaged or neglected due to chaos leading to Chernobyl #2 or even a total core melt down to the water table.
4. ? Unknown effects that might occur we can’t even foresee now ( rise of a Stalin/Hitler like dictator etc)

Even if Russia wins territory they have taken already. They now have gotten a bloody nose in the fighting. I really doubt they will want more after this. Not for decades and by then Ukraine should have been able to rebuild their defenses.

We’re not talking about Eastern Syria, and Russia is in Syria by a factor of 50 compared to us.

In fact, for a time Russia brought Syrian jihadists to fight in Ukraine.

Nice try.

Well written, the object of the Bakhmut operation was to bleed out and degrade Russian forces while taking the least amount of casualities possible. Now flank the remaining Russian troops by going around the burning hulk of rubble that had been a nice little city and trap those inside. This guy is very good: https://www.youtube.com/@RFU

there is now less than 20,000,000 Ukrainians left in the entire country:
———
Unfortunately, the war cheerleaders NEVER realize what happens post war? Many of the Ukies that left Ukraine simply are never going back. The EU can have them, the drain on their welfare systems is already unsustainable.

Fact is there is now no path to victory what so ever for the Ukies. It will take decades for the Ukies to recover, if ever. They are now permanent welfare wards of the West.

There was good reason the Ukies were never admitted to the EU OR NATO since 1991. They are the poorest nation in Europe, mired in debt, corruption and political instability. Best it gets carved up and returned to its historical boundaries….Vlad has the pocket change to rebuild eastern Ukraine, the West can print up billions more for rebuilding.

Yep. And an opportunity to humiliate the U.S. Again. Can’t see the Russians ever giving up, but can see them aligning with China, Iran, and perhaps other Middle Eastern countries to get the job done.

All you state is straight from the war cheerleaders fear of Russia. All I can add is Europe has already fallen. A socialist, immoral, Godless union.

Their future is higher taxation, bankruptcy, default, all by their own hands. Much like the US, a fish rots from the head down.

The die has been cast years ago, and there is nothing the West can do about it.
