Trump makes pledge on JFK files: 'I will release everything else'

Former President Donald Trump committed to releasing the outstanding archival records related to John F. Kennedy’s assassination should he win a second term.

"I released a lot, as you know. And I will release everything else," he told >the Messenger.

During his first term, Trump ordered thousands of JFK files released but kept thousands of others on hold amid concerns from the FBI and the CIA. The document dump was prompted by the 1992 Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act, which set 2017 as a deadline to release all classified material about Kennedy's assassination.

In 2018, Trump delayed the full release of the tranche of Kennedy documents until October 2021 amid national security concerns. President Joe Biden later postponed that until December 2022, citing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Libertarian commentator Judge Andrew Napolitano indicated in a podcast that Trump noted concerns that the public shouldn't gain access to some of the classified content. Trump sidestepped a question about whether that was the case.

So far, Biden has released multiple batches of JFK documents. This includes nearly 1,500 in 2021 and over 13,000 last December, comprising over 70% of records previously withheld from the public.

Nevertheless, critics contend there are many documents that remain. The Mary Ferrell Foundation, a nonprofit group, slapped Biden and the National Archives and Records Administration with a lawsuit last year, contending the delay from 2017 violated the Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act.

We don’t even know if Trump said it. When I said take it for what it’s worth, I was referring to Napolitano’s credibility.

Note:
Communist China has between 2 and 3 hundred thousand foreign exchange students in our country at any given time. A considerable number of them are debriefed regularly by the CCP (as published in Forbes).

How many do you suppose have been assigned the mission of sowing apathy,
dysphoria and division in places like Free Republic?

(And that’s just China. How about other enemy intelligence agencies?)

It’s hard to argue with that. A lot of people have a hard time seeing the big picture. They’re looking for a candidate who never makes mistakes and when someone like Trump, one of the rare good ones, stumbles they abandon him without a second though and go in search of their next perfect candidate.

Yeah, and how many times did he say “Lock her up” in 2016 before featuring and toasting Bill and Hill at his inaugural luncheon?

I watched/read that too. It must be so earth-shattering that every president since Kennedy has kept it a secret, including Trump? Again, if you are going to release something potentially damaging to people, just release it, don’t announce that you are maybe thinking about doing it in a future date, giving time to be persuaded otherwise. President Trump loses credibility in a major way by going along with this deep-state BS.

whoever is in power needs cooperation from the people around him, or enough power to remove them.

I dont see either happening.

“I’m assuming it is:
how is it wasting taxpayers money to release the documents? Your first letter “H” didn’t come through on my machine.”

Any expense to using grandstand plays to achieve nothing when it costs the taxpayer to find and look up documents that may or may not be true is a waste.

The tomb, the main storage area for government documentation is located in St. Louis. It contains records, some true and some false with both being handled the same way, of the 9 billion entries stored there going back to records in 1821. Over time, some have been lost, separated, or destroyed and considering there are over 5000 requests for documents there daily, it is very easy for that to happen within the more than 7 acres of files at that location alone. And they ae the main coordination point for the other storage areas assigned to them. So the documents being discussed have an extreme possibility of being delivered incomplete anyway. And what could have been left out?

Consider this, Biden illegally had files from the archives discovered in his garage for an estimated 6 years and the archives couldn’t have known it as they never realized they were gone because they never asked for them when Biden lost his scif, if he ever had one. So any records from this facility could be re-written or just disappear and nobody would know. Hence, if you can’t trust sensitive documents from there, and if they can find the real ones if they haven’t been doctored, and the age of the event so no one is around to be held accountable for any of it, then what good is it? Any one with any sense at all knows the government is corrupt and tells you “qualified” lies all the time. And a single GM13 who would oversee the movement of these documents is salaried at over $100K a year to do what he’s told, is a waste of taxpayer money across the board if nothing but lies and an excuse to force emotion. And more than that GM13 is going to be hands on for any of the document any time they are requested. And they are all told what to do, also.

“Trump has a vendetta against the CIA and wants to expose the CIA. I don’t blame him.”

I do. A president is not hired for 4 or 8 years and then try to “get even” with people he doesn’t like. It’s not in the job description. He is paid to make decisions to run the country and protect the citizens in the best way possible within the laws established by the representatives of the country the voters put in there.

Unless you’re dead and in heaven, you are going to run into people you don’t like very often. Some might even want to harm you. But you’re not going to get even with them using this tact. None of the ones you are torqued at had anything to do with the JFK documents as most weren’t even born when that happened. No point. I look at it as the same as reparations. History can’t be reimbursed. Only lied about.

I guess he’d just human. If a man’s child were murdered, the Dad might want to seek revenge. It’s human nature. Some of us are not Jesus Christ.

Someday soon we will all see why he did what he did during his 1st term. And you will realize you are betrayed by your own words - “protect the citizens in the best way possible”

“It’s human nature.”

Revenge is not human nature, it is a taught reaction to something. You mentioned a man’s child being murdered. This isn’t the case as it is a reaction to how he was being treated which places it as nothing more than revenge for some discomfort. And I expect people I hire to carry out the needs of the people that voted him in there even after he is gone as part of the needs is the responsibility to hand over the reigns to the new administration. His reaction doesn’t do anything for anybody but himself. That is not for the people, that is personal, only. If it was anything else, where was he when he was in office and had the same info sitting out there he now wants? Some used to call it sour grapes.

“Some of us are not Jesus Christ”

Christ never took offense to his being attacked verbally, physically, or what he was trying to accomplish for man. Trump is trying to accomplish for Trump. Big difference.

The elephant in the room on the JFK files is Mossad.

There is zero chance the US government is going to acknowledge Mossad’s role in the JFK assassination.

The issue at the time was nuclear proliferation. JFK was strongly determined to prevent Israel from getting the atomic bomb.

Meanwhile the CIA—led by its counterintelligence chief James Jesus Angleton—was working overtime to help Mossad get the bomb.

Here is one useful “clue”:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/lifestyle/1987/12/05/the-secret-ceremony/d8d30dab-fe95-4ba0-b52f-c50a04795b77/

When JFK fired Allen Dulles as the head of CIA he appointed John McCone. Check out the McCone bio on Wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_A._McCone

Here is the “money quote”:

“McCone resigned from his position of DCI in April 1965, believing himself to be unappreciated by President Lyndon B. Johnson, who, he complained, would not read his reports, including on the need for full-fledged inspections of Israeli nuclear facilities.”

Mossad had the means, the motive and the opportunity to work with the CIA to get rid of JFK.

President Trump is bluffing—he will not release the files implicating the Mossad.

“...you will realize you are betrayed by your own words...”

If you can produce for me a sensible gain why releasing almost 60 year old information that can’t be trusted or complete at this point from an archive that has been under the control of people that haven’t done their job that have lost things and have nothing to do with todays operations to be productive, I’m open to change my opinion. But I’ve worked with people at the tomb during my years working with the military and the pentagon and I have never seen a whole lot of confidence from anyone that the information is sound and wasn’t filled with little more than opinions and not facts of a vast majority of the files they store.

And as for the Kennedy affair, I got more believable information from one of the staff doctors that was a young officer on that trip that matched what had been shown than the whole Warren Commission put out and was questionably promoted by the media.

My words come from researching while I was still involved with the pentagon. And it’s easy to now get some goods, if they can find any or make them up, on dead people. Like I mentioned before, it is common knowledge the feds are constantly hiding things. And the tomb is one of those places they can openly bury things and no one will get a finger pointed if there is a no one still alive.
