What I saw, I agree. Instead of saying, "She's not my type ..."; He should have strongly denied ever touching her, if that was the case
Sadly, he is impulsive and lacks self-control. Who cares if she is or is not her type? It's just not relevant.
But he did it his way, in describing the incident. I'm betting his legal team just cringed when they heard him say that.
Yep, totally stupid thing to say since it implied he might’ve done it if she was his type.
He can’t keep his mouth shut. He’s his own worst enemy.
This being said, the jury was out to get him no matter what the evidence. And there wasn’t any. Carroll’s story is beyond incredulous.
You are absolutely right but that’s not Trump’s personality. He will always be the guy laughing it up with Imus and Stern. Imus got tired of it and broke it off. His deposition kind of makes Barr’s point more believable.
That being said this case is a travesty. I'm no lawyer but to think the l the New York legislature singled out Trump to allow this case to be tried long past the statute of limitations should be unconstitutional in spirit, if not in the letter of the law
I see nothing wrong with his statement. He only insulted her and hurt her feelings. She wishes he would have chased her. But she's not his type so he never paid attention to her. He likes real females. She's a dog. WOOF!
I didn’t hear the tape, but have seen
the “she’s not my type” cull from it a dozen times. KNEW that was a big mistake strategically first time I heard it.It plays perfectly into the perception of DJT as what I called “lewd, rude, and crude” and implies that if she WAS his type, he would’ve ( or at least MIGHT have) raped her. SURE, it will be appealed, and who knows how long it can be made to drag on...real question is, will they try for a legal decision on this or some other “issue” that makes Trump literally ineligible to run and/or occupy the Oval Office even if he does win?
