Republicans Sen. Chuck Grassley and Rep. James Comer subpoenaed the FBI on Wednesday for an unclassified document they say alleges a criminal scheme between now-President Joe Biden and a “foreign national” during his years in the Obama White House.
The record reportedly details the former vice president’s arrangement to receive money in exchange for pushing certain policy positions. The Republicans were only made aware of Biden’s potential criminal enterprise because of an unnamed whistleblower.
“The information provided by a whistleblower raises concerns that then-Vice President Biden allegedly engaged in a bribery scheme with a foreign national,” Comer announced in a press release on Wednesday. “The American people need to know if President Biden sold out the United States of America to make money for himself.”
As Grassley has repeatedly noted, even though FBI Director Christopher Wray previously promised that whistleblowers like this one would not face punishment, the Biden administration’s FBI and Department of Justice have remained unresponsive to congressional requests and inquiries related to the Biden family business.
Considering the FBI’s own long history of corruption and politicization, Grassley and Comer said they do not trust the FBI to properly investigate whether Biden is compromised by a foreign enemy.
Instead, the Republicans are demanding the FBI turn over in unredacted form every FBI FD-1023 that contains the word “Biden” and other accompanying documents so they can draw their own conclusions.
“We believe the FBI possesses an unclassified internal document that includes very serious and detailed allegations implicating the current President of the United States,” Grassley said in a statement. “What we don’t know is what, if anything, the FBI has done to verify these claims or investigate further. The FBI’s recent history of botching politically charged investigations demands close congressional oversight.”

Actually a GOP Rep said the other day that he filed Articles of Impeachment against Biden.
I imagine not enough GOP reps would sign on.
But they are sitting there on Kevin’s desk.
So what if the Senate won’t convict him?
He would still be impeached, just not convicted.
Dems did it 2 or three times to Trump.
Republicans haven’t got the guts to follow through.
Did I say two pieces, no I said secession of States.
Texas has the means to leave, with money lost from the State to the feds to fund retirement accounts is SS. Plenty natural resources; oil, NG, coal and geothermal. Finally, the ability to seal our borders
We sure the hell don’t need Colorado. They can sit atop their bags of weed and wait for Mordor on Potomac to come rescue their liberal butts.
Your post, “ A division of states “
Right, exactly. Could be one could be 49…..
This country is Balkanized in sense, why should the country not be
The next day, Oct. 17, USA Today followed up with the article, “A Tabloid Got a Trove of Data on Hunter Biden from Rudy Giuliani. Now, the FBI is Probing a Possible Disinformation Campaign.”
It should be obvious to all but the most dyed-in-the-wool MSNBC and CNN viewer how totally corrupt and two-tiered the FBI's and the D's responses have been.
See how, in the face of voluminous evidence of corruption, bribes and extortion, the FBI and D's simply direct all their propaganda and investigative attention onto those who provided the evidence, assuming whistleblowers--only those from the right, of course--are inherently nefarious!
Even though RFK, Jr. is "crazy with the heat" (Global Warming/Climate Change) agenda, we do appreciate his verve in red-pilling the Left regarding DS corruption, the plandemic, vax treachery and murder, and the Nazi World Order, Marxist agenda.
It’s called R I C O !
The House should simply tell the FBI that funding will be cut 20% this year, and 20% next year until and unless they abide by the legitimate request for documents. Two can play games.
