A text message sent by Tucker Carlson that set off a panic at the highest levels of Fox on the eve of its billion-dollar defamation trial showed its most popular host sharing his private, inflammatory views about violence and race.
The discovery of the message contributed to a chain of events that ultimately led to Mr. Carlson’s firing.
In the message, sent to one of his producers in the hours after violent Trump supporters stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Mr. Carlson described how he had recently watched a video of a group of men — Trump supporters, he said — violently attacking “an Antifa kid.”
It was “three against one, at least,” he wrote.
And then he expressed a sense of dismay that the attackers, like him, were white.
“Jumping a guy like that is dishonorable obviously,” he wrote.
“It’s not how white men fight,” he said. But he said he found himself for a moment wanting the group to kill the person he had described as the Antifa kid......

What a BS story. Obvious motives. It will blow up on them though, in my opinion.
I suspect many people want an end to woke PC speak and an end to the attacks of people who are politically incorrect. I am one. It would be mighty white of FNC just to recognize that and as supposed journalists recognize that they are partly responsible for the destruction of the American language, the language that allows them to exercise their trade.
But he said he found himself for a moment wanting the group to kill the person he had described as the Antifa kid...
Had nothing to do with the white men do not fight like this statement at all.
I stopped watching Fox shortly after Tony Snow passed away.
Give some examples.
“Give some examples.”
White’s mistreatment of blacks, and their mistreatment of Jews.
All races are guilty somewhere along the line of mistreatment of other races and cultures. How about that for a generalization!
Good grief, that is not what he was talking about. You must really be outraged about slavery 200 years ago too. You have any problem with slavery today?
FOX is only making itself look worse and worse every day by aligning itself with the NYT to smear Carlson.
Part of having black privelege.
BTTT
“Tucker said “Jumping a guy like that is dishonorable obviously. It’s not how white men fight”
Tucker’s wrong. White men do fight like that, and worse.”
Maybe you and the dirtbags you hung with do, but as a general rule they do not.
Cod swallop!
More lies of defamation
I watched a few minutes of him last evening. He comes across as a nice guy but his on air presence is weak......Definitely not ready for prime time.
Trigger warning: I’m going to commit the sin of reading things into someone else’s utterance.
When Carlson says “It’s not how white men fight” while showing video of three white men fighting exactly that way, the whole point is the contradiction of what happened with our own stereotypes and assumptions about how people behave. The entire thought packet is “It’s not how CIVILIZED white men are SUPPOSED TO ACT, yet here they are, carried away by emotion and behaving like savages. We have to face it and do better.”
This is about as non-racist a view as can be: whites, like all other humans, are capable of behaving like animals, despite any racial stereotypes to the contrary. He recognizes the truth, and doesn’t absolve himself (part of him WANTS the loathsome foe to be beaten, but the better part knows it is wrong). Instead of pretending white conservative rioters don’t exist, Carlson presents the evidence — just like he presented evidence of the so-called Q-Anon Shaman NOT rioting, but walking around peacefully and praying.
Carlson is an existential threat to the Left and media mavens because liars can’t tolerate evidence and truth. He is stepping on their narratives.
