The ‘National Popular Vote’ is an absolute meaningless term in the USA. There are are 50 separate votes plus that of DC that do matter.

Actually, the only votes that matter are those harvested from the very large blue cities by those who really control the American political system.

Right, because our "betters" in the statehouses don't trust us to make the right decision. If the majority of Americans want Trump as president, then Trump should be president regardless of whether he gets a lucky split among 10,000 independent voters in swing states or not.

It's frustrating watching my state's 54 Electoral votes go to the Rat candidate every election cycle. I've thought about moving, but judging from many red state Freepers' reactions to anyone with a California license plate I don't think that would be a good idea. My vote would count for very little if we had a national popular vote, but it would still be more than the nothing it counts for now.
