Is Robert Kennedy, Jr. Bernie Sanders Deja Vu?
American Thinker ^ | 04/29/2023 | John Klar

Posted on 04/29/2023 9:32:48 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Consider the parallels between Robert F. Kennedy’s campaign for POTUS and the Bernie Sanders debacle. In both cases, Americans witness an entrenched Democrat juggernaut of corrupt power brokers who believe they get to choose who will be the Democrat candidate -- not their own primary-voting Democrat electorate. In both cases, every trick or gimmick is pulled by the Dems and legacy media to discredit the challenger in favor of the anointed.

In both cases, the discredited candidate would fare better than the establishment favorite against Donald Trump in the general election.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will be a mightier opponent to topple than socialist sell-out Bernie, and sad sack Joe is even more unappealing than Hillary Clinton in 2016. Though he is an incumbent, for Biden that is a liability -- the economy is teetering, but not as greatly as “Old Joe.” The media that challenged Donald Trump’s mental health are not critically assessing Biden’s physical competence to navigate events or climb stairs, let alone serve another term. But voters will.

An NBC News poll reported that 70 per cent of Americans believe Joe Biden should not run in the 2024 presidential election, including more than half of Dems. But the Democrat powers that be have reannointed Joe as their best chance against Donald Trump, ignoring whether he has any chance at all against RFK, Jr. in a fair fight.

Despite attempts to paint him up with the halo effect of his former boss, Joe Biden ain’t no Barack Obama! Most Americans do not want a John Fetterman for president in 2024: some perceive they already have one, or one on the brink, in Joe Biden.

Attacks against Kennedy by the liberal press reflect establishment fear, and have quickly resorted to mischaracterizing his statements and positions, and deplatforming him widely. Is this not Bernie redux?

RFK jr makes it obvious he loves America and is open to changes to preserve her. RFK jr would not have had his honeymoon in the USSR.

Here’s the danger — many Republicans who do not support Donald Trump would likely support RFK, Jr. — certainly much more readily than they would Joe Biden. For this reason, Robert Kennedy is a threat also to the GOP apparatus and surely the Trump campaign, as he is a much more capable general election opponent than the current bumbler-in-chief.

DO NOT count RFKj out. He can toss a giant monkey wrench into Biden’s plans.

I like Robert and I believe Robert cares about America and it’s people.

My only problem with him is the climate baloney and I am not certain if he is an abortion ghoul.

You know that vermin in the WH hates him. When he was making his speech to enter the race, some POS turned on the fire alarm to disrupt his speech.

No, Bernie had the support of the party's left wing, which is at least 40% of voters in Democratic party primaries. No way does Kennedy have that level of support.

I’m sorry but I like Bobby Jr’s stance on vaccines and corporate take-over of our agencies and he has no love for CIA and FBI. Love Trump, but he let Fauci and his ilk be in charge and still loves the covid vax. We got our SCOTUS pro-lifers, so it may be some thinking to be done. I like DeSantis too except he is hanging out with wrong crowd sometimes

They should fear RFK Jr., we should fear him too.

That’s my take as well.

How can a guy take a position on the “vax” like he did, and then be all in on “man-made climate change”?

How can those two positions exist in the same brain? I don’t get it.

He is a threat to both parties but more to the left because he is still a climate change guy and liberal in other ways. He is his own guy and not a loon, so the wokester folks will hate him.

People don’t know where he stands on issues. There will be no debate on the RAT side because Biden is incapable of making any sense, so Robert would have to find a way to get his message out.

He doesn’t have much of a chance to win because the support he would need from the kook left will never happen. He isn’t a company guy for the DNC.

Republicans who do not support Donald Trump would likely support RFK, Jr.

Libertarians will prove they are the worst "uniparty" after all. They are already trading their Tiger Beat magazines across the aisle.

I think he cares a little more, but I think he’s in with the climate change, abortion and most of the democrat dogma. If we’re going to get stuck with another commiecrat, I’d rather have him. He might bring the country together a little. Biden is a pos. He’s a puppet. He shouldn’t be in the WH.

((How can a guy take a position on the “vax” like he did, and then be all in on “man-made climate change”?))

Because a lot of times super hippy environmentalists are also into holistic medicine and anti “western medicine”, keeping everything natural etc. They can be as anti-science as super fundamental religious types

“DO NOT count RFKj out. He can toss a giant monkey wrench into Biden’s plans.”

Makes Joey moot, kicks Bernie to the curb again, and stomps out HRC’s fireworks in the process. A little sideshow action. The DemFems have nervous twichits over this. The best laid plans and all that...

Rino’s might even be nervous too!

Trump’s Veep? hahahaha that’s laughable! I think....
