For the love of god, someone take this guy by the hand and show him where Florida is.

It's not his turn!

No one survives a side by side comparison with Donald Trump.

I like DeSantis.

But someone has got to tell him he’s blowing up his political future. Now is not the time.

As much as I despise Charlie “twinkle toes” Crist, he correctly called out DeSantis for not promising to NOT run for the 2024 Presidential election if he won the 2022 governor election.

Do keep in mind that UK business leaders are all woke. Don’t believe anything the MSM might say about what they might have not said about DeS.

Imagine a room full of liars and you must interview until you find a fact.

OTOH, it wouldn’t exactly be a great endorsement if most Brit pols embraced him.

The Brits can’t buy DeSantis, but they can buy into Florida, which was what DeSantis was trying to get them to do.

A President signs bills and hires people.

It appears Trump has hired a good lawyer, Joe Tacopina, finally.

Trump’s other hires:
Michael Cohen
William Barr
Sidney Powell

The problem with DeSantis, is he in all likelihood, hasn’t spent one minute forming a belief or policy that he’d like to pursue on a national stage. He’s been trotted out by the Establishment as the Trump alternative and thus will follow whatever agenda is set for him. He’s a one-term governor that is not ready for the national stage. 2028 would have been his time, but he’s been pushed by the RINO Establishment and is in the process of destroying his political career.

At least DeSantis has something meaningful to say to a room full of British insurance executives, and the insurance reforms the Florida legislature just passed could spark some interest in London.

More interesting is the fact he met separately with both Foreign Minister James Cleverly and Trade Minister Kemi Badenoch, but not PM Rishi Sunak

“One U.K. business figure said DeSantis “looked bored” and “stared at his feet” as he met with titans of British industry in an event co-hosted by Lloyd's of London — the world's largest insurance marketplace.”

And the unnamed figure said he was surprised how articulate President Biden and Vice President Harris were when they visited.

DeSantis still has time to save his political future.

To do this he must announce that he is not only not running for president, but he is also throwing his full support behind Donald Trump.

This is his best and only play.

That being said, even if he chooses to destroy his future as a politician, he’s probably set financially either way.
