A think tank released a new bombshell report this week revealing that the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals only provides 2% of its total budget to pet shelters throughout the United States, despite having hundreds of millions of dollars and providing many employees with six-figure salaries.
The Center for the Environment and Welfare, a new think tank dedicated to sustainability and animal welfare, released a report exposing the ASPCA, a nonprofit organization formed to prevent animal cruelty, for deceptively using donors' dollars to support "radical and elitist" anti-farmer policies instead of funding animal shelters.
In conjunction with the shocking report, the think tank announced the launch of a new media campaign to "expose the duplicity" of the ASPCA.
According to CEW, the ASPCA's most recent tax filings revealed that the nonprofit had $390 million in revenue and $575 million in assets, including roughly $11 million in offshore Caribbean accounts.

I give to zero organizations anymore. You cannot trust any of them.
Nice post. Glad I am just tempted and never gave money to them: Marxists run the world.. America used to be the exception.
There are a lot of communist front groups in the world. Some claim to be for animals, some for women, some for kids, some for blacks, some for Jewish interests, some for the environment. It’s all decoration. Below the surface they’re identical with identical goals.
Absolutely correct. It started with the labor unions and crept into entertainment (Reagan fought them there) then into our universities and, in the 1960s, into activist groups.
The spread of communism paused after the fall of the USSR, but then got new life through Clinton and Obama and internationally, through Soros and the WEF.
Those heart-wrenching TV ads they run are shameful.
I saw an article about that a long time ago. It said to donate to your local shelter so that’s what I do. I don’t watch the tearjerker ads on TV either.
I have to change the channel. It’s all a scam. I give to my local shelter instead. They do the real work.
We stopped in the 80’s, while stationed at Ft Dix. ASPCA pressured Philly DA to prosecute 80 year old man for killing a rat with a hoe that was eating his produce in backyard garden which he used to survive on.
So essentially the ASPCA is essentially PETA!
I had no idea. Wow
If you really want to make a difference, research your local humane societies and find the good ones to donate to. They do exist.
And some of the “homeless” are acting and rake in $200-300 a day at offramps and major intersections, then pack it in, walk to a car a few blocks away, and drive home. Yep, it occurs.
Especially with this revelation: “ The report alleged that 259 ASPCA employees made six-figure incomes, including the organization’s CEO, Matt Bershadker, who made $856,785.” Ba$tards!
It is kinda like owning gold.
If you can’t touch it then it is not yours.
Local, local, local is the way to go—visit the shelter and look the employees and the animals in the eyes.
Adopt one if you can.

A person needs to carefully check out any organization they donate to. The money usually goes into *expenses* and salaries than what they tell you it’s going to be used for.
not too much different from the American Red Cross ....
