It was a pandemic only among the elderly and those with a co-morbidity of obesity. The elderly factor was in the media Dec 2019. Obesity became obvious Mar 2020 (to me).

Any “Public Health” response should have been accordingly. Here in GA Funeral Directors held large funerals for dead.
Allegedly the reason we regulate Funeral Directors is so they won’t due stupid like they did. Nursing Homes bussed the elderly to church to share their COVID with others. Isn’t the reason we regulate Nursing Homes so they don’t do stupid like this?

Polio had the same survibability. Should we have ignored polio and not developed vaccines for it?
And if they’d paid some attention to the Great Barrington Declaration, they’d have avoided many of the fatalities, without dumbing down a generation of our children and destroying our economy. Not to mention the squandering of the last bit of faith we had in our government…
