The Los Angeles Times on Thursday is denying allegations that it submitted questions to the White House before a press conference the day earlier – after a photo emerged showing President Joe Biden holding a card with a summary of a question that the paper's reporter Courtney Subramanian asked.
"Our reporter did not submit any questions in advance of the Q&A with President Biden," the Times told Fox News Digital. "Courtney Subramanian covers the White House for the Los Angeles Times.
"As such, she is in regular contact with the White House press office seeking information for her reporting. You would have to ask the White House who prepared the document for the president and why they included that question."
The White House did not comment to Fox on the matter.
"Joe Biden, our Commander-in-Chief, used a cheat sheet this afternoon…with a reporter’s question on it. Let that sink in," Georgia GOP Rep. Andrew Clyde tweeted.
Conservative commentator Mike Cernovich tweeted: "We don’t have reporters. We have groveling regime propagandists."
This is not the first time Biden has been accused of using a cheat sheet.
Last year, he was spotted holding an official card with specific instructions such as "You take YOUR seat."

The LA Dindunuffins
She is probably being truthful. The reporter didn’t submit the question the White House told her the question she was going to ask. Otherwise, how could the exact question from the same reporter end up on his cheat sheet?
Yeah don’t believe your lying eyes.
If the LA Times did not give the White House the question, then the White House gave the “reporter” the question.
And that is much, much worse.
The death of the Fourth Estate is what we are seeing. And death of freedom of the press.
Are we not supposed to believe our lying eyes, here, is taht what they are saying? Gaslighting liars. Wow I am so sick of it.
You could be correct. Just how often does Joe take ANY unscripted questions?
Georgia GOP Rep. Andrew Clyde???
Didn’t play California Carlson? You know, Hoppy’s sidekick.
Wow, he must be at least 140 years old.
Who are we supposed to believe - the LA Times, or our lying eyes?
Nah, this is totally believable. All you need are time machines or mind reading powers. Just like the movies.
I think a prior poster had it right....the Times didn’t give the questions, the WH gave the reporters the questions they are allowed to ask. That actually makes a lot more sense and gives WH total control over all questions, and makes the reporters’ denial ‘truthful’ to boot. That’s what we’re left with, folks.
Hillary Clinton aboard campaign plane Oct. 20 2016. Hillary flak tries to “secretly (caught on video) slip Andrea Mitchell a question she wanted Andrea to ask Hillary; spoiler alert, Andrea trotted over and read the question the Hilalry campaign had given her.
Wouldn’t it have been great had Courtney Subramanian had the courage and integrity to ask a completely different question?
Something like, “Why are your family members receiving payments from China?”, “Why are you leaving Americans behind in Sudan when even India is getting its citizens out?”, or even something for the family section, “Why do you deny the existence of your youngest grandchild, you know the stripper’s daughter?”
magic... right???
Did anyone see the presser? Was that the question she asked?
Right. It's the Republicans fault the media are a bunch of lying scum...
Is this even mildly believable?
WORD GAMES! The L A Times didn’t give them the question beforehand. That’s what they say, right? What they DON’T say is that they weren’t given the question beforehand.
“The Los Angeles Times on Thursday is denying allegations that it submitted questions to the White House...”
So, that just means the US Government submitted the question to the LA Times instead.
One of the two must be true, unless they want to claim that Biden is using the FBI to surveil them in order to figure out what questions they are going to ask.
LA Times the most trusted name in Bullshit.
