deSantis did break down the timeline of 'what happened' with Trump during an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity Monday night where he appeared from Japan during his international trip.
'The last time I interviewed President Trump, I was there in 2018, and I always saw the two of you as friends,' Hannity said. 'And I said to him a very simple question, I asked him, I said, 'What happened?' And I think it's only fair to ask you the same question. What do you think happened?'
'We worked really hard for his reelection in Florida, and I always had a good relationship with him.'
'And then, once the midterm election happened, he started taking shots at me,' the Florida governor detailed.
'I didn't really do anything to do it except do a good job,' DeSantis added.

He's like the cheating significant other that's portrayed in movies and stories.... courting others (seeking donors and supporters), setting up a match maker (superpac), and all but announcing they want to see someone else (announcement he wants to run)....
Yet, when confronted, he says he doesn't know why things went bad in the relationship, and denies anything is going on...

Trump woke up one morning and, for no reason at all, just decided to take potshots at DeSantis.

Trump campaigned in Florida to help the Democrat, Charlie Crist.
Desantis is like a car wreck. It is a horrible thing to see but you just can’t turn your head away.
What DeSantis did to Lee Zeldin gives us a good insight to his character.

I am always amazed at the number of people who maintain that Trump doesn’t know, can’t understand, doesn’t realize, etc.
Have you approached his accomplishments? I think it takes a very high intelligence to accomplish what he has, and I think he realizes much more than you are capable of realizing yourself.
And if DeSantis (correct spelling, BTW) wants to run in the primaries, why is that a bad thing? I say the more candidates we have to choose from, the better.
I’d love to see Trump serve a second role, FWIW.

TAMPA — Declaring himself the most popular Republican in the history of America, President Donald Trump revved up thousands of fans Tuesday night at a rowdy Tampa Bay campaign rally to help gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis and, above all, celebrate Donald Trump.
Its as simple as this… until Ron openly and directly ends speculation about running for Pres , he is Trumps competition. Hes in the past said he wasnt going to run but now it looks like hes putting the pieces together to give it a try. The more obvious it is hes going to run… the louder Trump will become about him. If he excuses himself now from running , then Trump will once again become a fan.
President Trump doesn’t need to take shots at DeSantis. There’s no possible way DeSantis could beat him even if he ran. Trump could afford to take the high road and I wish he would have. Of course, I rarely get what I wish for.

Trump taking cheap shots at DeSantis was unwarranted just because DeSantis was contemplating running for President. Why? Because DeSantis wasn’t taking cheap shots at Trump for running for President.
DeSantis has been doing a FANTASTIC job here in Florida. He has been taken legal actions as governor Trump was afraid to ever take as President. DeSantis doesn’t mouth off, he takes action.
