A plus-size travel social media influencer demanded that airlines better accommodate larger passengers when traveling.
Jae’lynn Chaney from Vancouver, Washington, started the Change.org petition “Demand for the FAA to Protect Plus-Sized Customers,” detailing several demands to ensure larger passengers can fly without issues.
… “The FAA must require all airlines to implement a clear customer-of-size policy that prioritizes the comfort and well-being of all passengers. This policy should include clear guidelines on accommodating larger passengers, such as providing larger seats, seat belt extenders, and alternative seating arrangements,” Chaney wrote in the petition.
“All plus-size passengers should be provided with an extra free seat, or even two or three seats depending on their size, to accommodate their needs and ensure their comfort during the flight,” the influencer wrote.
For plus-size passengers who purchase extra seats on their own, Chaney wants the airlines to fully reimburse their additional seats, saying this process should be “straightforward.”

Sure we’ll do that and charge you by the pound for the extra special handling surcharge ...
Step onto our plus-sized weighing machine ...
Fair Airline Tariff or FAT for oversized, over weight, plus sized or just plain Fat People.
I’ve seen some things...
Put the fork down fatty. You are fat. You are not healthy. You are not beautiful. I don’t feel the least bit sympathy for you. When the person sitting next to you in a seat is ‘you’ you are too fat. Pay for your seats.
As a drunk.., I demand free booze on flights and someone to wheel me around the airports and carry me to my seat so I can stay in a drunken stupor. I demand FAA action....
How does one get so fat even your forehead is fat.
Disgusting.
This unhealthy obese person needs to just get real about her obesity
So now it’s “customer-of-size,” instead of morbidly obese.
DO NOT contaminate my C-130s!
Make the metal detectors smaller. If you can't pass through the security machine, you need two tickets.

Years ago I was stuck in a middle seat between two obese folks—New York to LA flight.
It was so awful that I still have a fear of flying—not because of the “normal” reasons—but because a long flight can be so uncomfortable.
The cost of a first class ticket to avoid this is another deterrent to flying.
DO NOT contaminate my C-130s!
Although I’m not overweight in the least, those seats do suck pretty bad. They have decided to cram as many passengers into the plane without any concern about comfort.
Long time ago..I flew a on a 747 from Figi to Melbourne. I had a whole row of seats to myself.
We once had a 300-lb professional football player in our neighborhood, whose kid went to school with ours. When I invited their family over for dinner, I bought a specially sturdy dining room chair for him (and extra food), because they were guests. Later on, when I needed help with something manly, he came through for me.
But as for ticket-buying airline patrons, hey, lady, buy your own accommodations. Other travelers didn’t invite you, they don’t owe you, and you’re in no position to reciprocate any favors.
Size costs money. Funeral homes in this area charge extra even for cremating a body over 300 lbs.
Good for you, dennisw!
And many of them smell bad, too, because they can't reach their crevices or reach to wash or style their greasy hair. Fungus grows under the breasts and elsewhere. There was a youngish teacher of size in our local school, a blue-eyed blonde with the entitlement attitude. Once I was sitting in one of the low children's chairs at a meeting and she walked by, and her skirt trailed a ripe odor of urine. Yuck!
that u can’t unsee, apparently LOL
It is sad that traditional Christian names seem to be out of fashion for a few generations now.
