Marburg virus is a big deal. Deadly in 80-90% of cases. It incapacitates you pretty quickly and is contagious primarily through blood and bodily fluid spatter. It tends to spread in Africa among medical people and civilians who prepare bodies for burial. Marburg is nothing to mess with but unlikely to become widespread here. It just kills too quickly to spread far.

If Trump is a racist for calling the Wuhan virus the “China Virus”, why isn't the CDC guilty of racism for calling that particular version of Ebola the “Marburg” virus? (named after the city of Marburg Germany where it was discovered and isolated)
In fact, calling a hemorrhagic virus “Ebola” is racist because it names an African point of origin.
