Vice President Kamala Harris will be traveling to Nashville, Tennessee on Friday to meet with Democratic lawmakers who have been expelled from the General Assembly.
Harris will meet with Democratic Reps. Justin Jones and Justin Pearson, two state lawmakers who were removed from the assembly after leading protests on the House floor following the Covenant School shooting.
She will also be meeting with groups of young protesters who have protested for tighter gun control following the tragic massacre.
"While in Tennessee, the Vice President will make clear what happened in Nashville, continue to call on Congress to renew the assault weapons ban and ensure that in Tennessee and across the nation, the voices of our young people are heard.," a White House official told Fox News.

From Westword (Denver's independent source of local news and culture) (1/11/2021): Calls for Lauren Boebert's Expulsion Go National:
As you can see, it's okay for Democrats to call for the expulsion of people on the right, but it's not okay for Republicans to actually do it to Democrats when Republicans have the power.
The previous day, numerous elected officials, political leaders and groups across the state had sent an open letterto Boebert and Representative Doug Lamborn, who also voted against certifying Biden's win, demanding they resign.[snip]
Here's the complete text of the letter, along with the names of the progressive elected officials, individuals and organizations that signed it.

How is it a surprise ?
I know right they look like they should be working the steam guns at the De Lux Carwash
I think you misunderstood. It will be a surprise to her. You will be able to tell it is a surprise if she cackles when she talks.
They are BLACK.
So she is going there to voice support for insurrection? It is ok as long as democrats do it.
Drop her off in a school yard she’ll love the yellow buses
Maybe she can take a side trip and pay a visit the southern border. /s
Make no mistake……..we are in a race war and is the fault of these monsters, like Kamala Harris.
Notice how Obama involved himself in this with comments.
This specific event is important to the cartel.
It is an effective defense by a state.
They are not democratic lawmakers. They are Democrat lawmakers. Democrats are not democratic.
I was pondering the same point. Perhaps Harris should be asked to explain the difference in Jan 6th and the recent Tennessee insurrection.
Sounds like Amos and Andy forgot to change hats.
What, she have another word salad for blacks?
