Morrisey, a Republican, defended the legislation, stating: 'Our case is simple: It’s about protecting opportunities for women and girls in sports.'

They are NOT "women and girls"!!!!!! They are males pretending to be girls. If you can't get the difference between a male and female, I doubt you can get ANYTHING right. It's a sad day for common sense and right and wrong.

Stop injecting logic into this emotional argument. People want to be angry and they will not be denied! Let them read only the headline and think the world is falling apart!!! Don’t you know how the media works?!?!

a 12-year-old transgender girl

Start with the fact that there's no such thing. A boy is a boy. Even if it's a freak in a dress.

There is a wise old saying: Your rights end where my rights start. In other words, you are free to do as you wish, just as long as your behavior doesn’t infringe on my rights. This makes all the sense in the world.

But evidently that does not apply here. Real female athletes do not have the right to fair competition. Their rights do not matter, at all.

“I dont knew if this country is even worth trying to save.”

One way we can start saving it is for a state governor to simply refuse a federal court ruling based on the 10th Amendment. Simply state there is nothing in the enumerated powers in the Constitution giving the federal courts jurisdiction over a purely state matter. Any power the court claims is simply a usurpation of power and not within the scope of the federal judiciary’s authority as provided for the in the Constitution.

You do not win a war by accepting defeat in a battle where right is on your side. Of course, if a governor took such a step the state legislature, the state’s congressional delegation, and the people of the state would have to stand with him or her and be willing to hold steadfast in the firestorm that would ensue. In addition the governor would have to be prepared to be arrested and imprisoned by the federal authorities.

The tyranny of the Judicial and Executive branches cannot be stopped at the voting box. Patriots are going to have to peacefully refuse to obey the tyrants. Ghandi and Martin Luther King showed that it is possible to win with peaceful resistance if the victims of oppression are willing to suffer along the way.

Furthermore Article III, Section I of the Constitution states that “The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.” Congress, as creator of the lower federal courts can set limits on the jurisdiction of the lower federal courts. Congress could easily reign in judicial tyranny by passing a law simply stating the lower federal courts have no power over state courts and it is the consensus of the members of Congress the Constitution gives the Supreme Court no jurisdiction over state courts.

SCOTUS could have done like they always do: declined the case with no comment.
You know, just like they do for every appeal from conservatives.

This doesn't surprise me.

I'll bet there are some justices on the U.S. Supreme Court who don't want to touch the "transgender" sports issue with a ten-foot pole.

The reason for it is that any separation of men and women in scholastic sports covered by Title IX may be outlawed as a violation of Federal civil rights law.

So many of humanities problems have roots in Biblical Literature. Proverbs states that the Glory of MEN is their strenth, and English Literature added.. and the Glory of Women is their Beauty.
Boys, Men always like to boast their strength, for them to cross over and compete with women, is to destroy the beauty of Womanhood. The Supreme Court was wrong.

Kinda makes ya wish for sharia law to bring balance back to the male/female/other equation. Seems the leftists want women out of sports too. Why Else would fake women be promoted over REAL women? To discourage real women and “put ya’ll Back in chains”. Yep...democrats. doesn’t matter Who the slaves are as long as they have some. And the women’s libers run away with tail tucked. No surprise there. Women’s liberation was NEVER about Real Women.

From the article:

U.S. District Court Judge Joseph Goodwin initially barred West Virginia from enforcing its law and allowed Pepper-Jackson to compete on the girls' teams while the case continued.

But Goodwin ultimately found that the law does not violate the Constitution or Title IX, the landmark 1972 gender equity legislation. Goodwin, an appointee of former President Bill Clinton, ruled the law could remain in place as appeals continued.

US Supreme Court. The shitbirds took their case to federal court ... probably figured the WV State courts would tell them specifically where to shove it.

> This ruling was made because the Supreme Court didn’t want to interfere with a case that is currently working its way through the court system. <

I see your point. But this ruling is denying real females the right to fair competition.

Would the Supreme Court be so hands-off if, say, some black athlete was being denied the right to fair competition? I don’t think so.
