After recovering from the 'initial shock' of a grand jury indictment against him, President Trump is now raging about the judge who is expected to preside over the case.
Trump, 76, will be arraigned in Manhattan at 2.15pm on Tuesday on an array of business fraud charges relating to 2016 hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.
He has denied any wrongdoing, and says he is the victim of a politically-motivated witch hunt led by the famously Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Yesterday, Judge Juan Merchan was spotted arriving at the Manhattan criminal courthouse in casual clothes last night flanked by two security officers, leading many to believe that he has been chosen for the case.
Merchan previously presided over the Trump Organization fraud trial, where the family business was fined $1.2million on a range of charges.
On Friday morning, Trump took to Truth Social to complain that Merchan 'hates' him and had been 'handpicked' by Bragg and his cronies.

Define “involved”. Daniels herself said that they did not have sex. Trump is quite famous. In the words of the snake himself, James Carville, “Drag a $100 bill through a trailer park, and you never know what you might find.”
Trump is a billionaire. Stormy is a low-level porn star. Who has something to gain from claiming some sort of tryst between them?
Let me put it another way: you are taking the word of a porn star - someone who will degrade and debase herself for money (and really, the only difference between a female porn star and a hooker are the lights and cameras) over the word of a successful billionaire former president of the United States.
