Turley: Trump Indictment ‘Legally Pathetic’
Briedbart ^ | 03/31/2023 | Jeff Poor

Thursday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel, law professor Jonathan Turley criticized the merits of the Manhattan grand jury’s indictment of former President Donald Trump.

Turley deemed the indictment “legally pathetic.”

“It is, it’s historic, it’s not necessarily good history that it is being made,” he said. “It’s not that I oppose the indictment of a former president. I don’t even oppose the indictment of a sitting president on a constitutional basis. But this indictment, if it is reportedly following the theory that we’ve been talking about is political. It’s a raw political prosecution. Now, the indictment may come out with a crime that none of us have heard of. But for many months, this bootstrapping theory has been put out there. This idea that you could take a misdemeanor under New York law that has expired that has a two-year statute of limitations and revive it by connecting it to a federal crime, in this case, the Federal Election violation.”

May be he can do someone about these “Legally Pathetic” events instead of just talking about them?

I’d like to see Trump hire the best lawyers in America, the gal on TV, his “civil” attorney is not at all impressive.

Yeah, it’s pathetic but it makes the childish Dung Beetle Party Turd Rollers happy. They’ve waited for this day ever since Clintoon stood them up and left them crying their asses off all night when she didn’t come crashing through the Javits center glass ceiling on election night 2016. Poor babies. Like that one Muslim African biatch said yesterday, This is their ‘karma’. Yeah right Skippy. “Karma”. You dumbass.

He is, but lawyers have been saying this from the start. We all know it makes no sense and we’re not even lawyers. We saw what Hillary got away with involving TS/SCI in her bathroom, likely selling it to foreign states. They leaked this out to get everyone used to it, pulled it back, feigned weakness.

And then they did it.

The pedal is to the metal for the commies. And we’re still wandering around arguing about what happened in 2020.

Turley is 100 percent on fire

The problem is he doesn’t know what’s in the indictment so it’s all speculation.

Unlike Willie Clinton and other Dung Beetle Party turd rollers, President Trump “isn’t above the law.” He doesn’t have an “I dindu nuffin’” card.

We know it's garbage, the other 30 indictment charges probably come off the calendar Trump used in College, remember the Kavanaugh "evidence"?

a misdemeanor under New York law that has expired that has a two-year statute of limitations

This seems to be the best they can come up with for their starting point. I haven't been paying strict attention --

An NDA is not illegal.
Trump didn't pay Stormy Daniels.
Trump's attorney paid Stormy Daniels.
Trump did not reimburse his attorney.
No campaign money was ever involved.

Exactly what "misdemeanor under New York law" are we talking about?

What difference will it make if Trump hires the best lawyers in the world? As in a Stalinist show trial, the outcome is predetermined. Truth and justice do not matter because the system is corrupt.

Half the system is corrupt, we lose this one and the whole system goes corrupt.

Whether pathetic or not, what it has done is pinned down our only hope for arresting this runaway lefty government. Pinned down because even were he to garner the nomination, he will NEVER become president again because 100% of the demo commies will vote against him and a good deal of independents
along with the sanctimonious GOPe crowd because he was indicted. Everything from here out is a legal web with roadblocks set in a democrat hell hole. This would not reach any level of review outside the courts in NY until long after the next election is over.

Trump will put it on T shirts and mugs and not only increase his stature with the electorate BUT MAKE BIG BIG CAMPAIGN BUCKS TO BOOT.

I want one, hopefully it will be color coordinated for pairing with my Red MAGA hat.

We have crossed the Rubicon in this country.
Perhaps I'm naive, but I think the action yesterday guarantees Trump's reelection. Patriotic Americans are beyond pissed...

I wouldn’t expect anything less than pathetic from a Soros DA whose mission is to dismantle criminal law and replace it with political law.
