In response to an increasing number of players engaging in silent protests against the NHL’s Pride Nights, a new report claims the league is re-evaluating the events which may lead to them being canceled.
Currently, all of the teams in the NHL hold Pride nights, however some now do so without the themed jerseys as the events are planned by the individual teams, not the league.
League commissioner Gary Bettman said in an interview with CTV News when asked about the players that have refused to wear Pride-themed jerseys this season, "This is the first time we've experienced that, and I think it's something that we're going to have to evaluate in the offseason."
Citing religious beliefs, several players have declined to participate in pre-game warmups while wearing Pride-themed jerseys.

Our local minor league hockey team had not had an LGBT night. And we are in an area with HIGH LGBT activisim.
Instead, last week they had a night where you could bring your dog to a game. They collected $5 at the gate for every dog and donated it to the local shelter. There was a dog parade between the 1st and second period.
The place sold out.
Minor league sports is about community and getting people in the seats. Even though this area is “friendly” to that community....evidently they are not hockey fans.
I don’t know...that scene at the end of the movie with the player skating around in his jockstrap may have just triggered a few Rainbow Warriors (not the Univ. of Hawaii folks) to think, “Hey, hockey may just be into us...”

Until recently the LGBT provocateurs were doing something called salami slicing. Give us this one tiny thing here and we’ll leave you alone. So, we went from gay marriage to you have to bake the cake or we’ll ruin you in about three months. The successes they’d had drove them to demand more and more up to the point where if you don’t let us convince your three-year-old to have sex change surgery we’ll use the FBI to crush you. Once they had Obama in the White House they went into overdrive. I think they turned up the heat on the frog-water too high, too fast. The blowback will probably (unless they fluck it up) give us a Republican president. (I don’t know who is actually president now as it certainly isn’t the ice cream vegetable. But a look at his cabinet is enough to make an LGBT activist know they have already won so they can make their move on everyone’s children.)
