The media keeps getting this wrong. This person was born female, Audrey, and was transitioning to male, as Aiden. They seem to copy and paste everyone else’s error when they say transgender female. This is a transgender male.

The shooter WAS female, and started transitioning to male. Audrey was renaming herself as Aiden, not the other way around.
The interesting thing is that the media themselves can’t figure out how to report this accurately, so they are starting to use the term “biological” again to help people get it.

That’s what I read too. However, the confusion was caused by the sheriff. He said “woman,” which usually means “man.” He obviously is not transgender or he would understand.
