Trump made the comments speaking in an interview with Rob Schmitt.
"No, I think that would be a very unlikely alliance," Trump told Friday's "Rob Schmitt Tonight" in a phone interview, when asked if he would consider DeSantis as a potential running mate.
"I've never thought of it," Trump told host Rob Schmitt. "We have a lot of great people in the Republican Party. I've never thought of it; but you know some people every once in awhile mention it, but that's about it."
DeSantis told Newsmax one night prior he is "an executive guy," suggesting he is a leader and not a follower of Trump, but Trump was incredulous DeSantis has moved on from a former GOP alliance.

I would love for Trump to use his platform to denounce gain-of-function experiments and ask key questions like:
Exactly what tools / techniques / knowledge did Ralph Steven Baric, of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, give to China?
What manipulations, in addition to those that are already known, did China do in order to get SARS-CoV-2?
What other labs have engaged in gain-of-function experiments?
What were the results of those experiments?
Competitions are good.
I still think he has the right mindset...

As it appears you've never gotten far enough in any employment or career you've had to worry about something like that,
It's called going away money.
Because if you ever got far enough to be in management or own a company, and someone comes to your business, claims a slip and fall or some other injury and threatens to sue, it's something you consider to do.
Because, it's cheaper to pay some money and make no admission of guilt or responsibility to make something go away, rather than have to have a long and expensive trial to prove your innocence.
But, like I said, it appears you've never gotten that far, to need to know or worry about something like this.
