When Will Stubborn Trump Loyalists Face Inconvenient Truths?
American Thinker ^ | 03/24/23 | Geoffrey Hunt

Posted on 03/24/2023 9:27:50 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Stubborn Trump supporters, especially the most fervent, seem unwilling to challenge the deedless covenant, ask the hard questions that if answered truthfully would confirm that Donald Trump has been a supreme letdown, and his failures -- including the re-election debacle -- self-inflicted.

Promises made, promises kept? Not when it mattered.

Drain the swamp? Spinning around in an airboat.

Trump never cleaned up the FBI, instead hired the Dem sympathizer Christopher Wray as Director, and except for a few gratuitous tweets about his incompetence, left him in place.

Gina Haspel, CIA chief, kept the job until the last day despite the likelihood she was knee-deep with John Brennan in the active sabotage of Trump’s 2015-2016 campaign and incoming president-elect transition.

Trump appointed, then tolerated clueless insubordinates and leakers like Rex Tillerson, John Kelly, JR McMaster, James Mattis, and Gary Cohn, until the damage was done, and Trump’s agenda crippled.

When will unyielding Trump loyalists answer the following questions?

Why did Trump endlessly rail against billions in federal budget giveaways to Dem darlings like Planned Parenthood, and Marxist countries, but signed the bills anyhow?

Why couldn’t Trump get illegal immigration fixed -- beyond executive orders easily overturned — and get Obamacare reversed when he had a Republican Senate and House? Why did Trump let Paul Ryan ruin his platform? Why did Trump deliberately antagonize John McCain knowing McCain would undercut the final vote on debriding Obamacare? Why did Trump willfully persist with a toxic persona, alienating suburban voters that cost him (and us) the House in 2018 and led to the first impeachment and a MAGA agenda declared morte by the Democrats?

Why did Trump never de-classify all the Obamagate documents, and release all of the Biden laptop evidence?

many will be forced to hold their nose and vote for Trump

As I see it, Trump is ahead of everyone on this. We are watching the NWO empire collapse around its ears in chaos and perversion and WAR, INC. and debt and cascading bankruptcy and who has positioned himself as the strong tough man saying this never would have happened if.... and I am the only one tough enough to take on the SOBs who did this to all of us.

Desperate times call for desperate measures and we have El Desporado rested, fit, tanned [ok Orange] and ready to ride off and round 'em up.

Trump is two things if nothing else. He is a genious at market positioning [buying Tiffany's air rights so he could build Trump tower and converting the Old Post Office to a now sold Hotel] and a genious at branding. I think we are watching him brand himself and take out the branding iron and brand a whole bunch of scoundrels who had no clue what they were messing with.

I think the pardoning of all those persecuted by the Dems since Trump should occur, yes.

Probably nothing. Essentially the country is doomed, and the country regrew up in in the 50s 60s and 70s and 80s is gone forever. They have corrupted academia and a generation of children into atheism, perversion, race schism, hatred of everything American. It can’t be fixed, it’s baked in the cake. What Trump will give you is another four years to better your position for the awful future they have planned for us economically and socially.

The best way to think of wanted to reelect Trump, is to imagine yourself running through a jungle in Laos. Your patrol was discovered and is trying to get away. Trump is the man who plants himself behind a tree and tells you to run as he stands and delays the enemy. He knows the end won’t go well for him. That’s why you vote for Trump again.

This. Every word of this.

I like the rodeo/cowboy analogies. Trump is FEARLESS and will do what needs to be done. His second term should prove interesting.

And his feckless idiot of an AG Jeff Sessions recused himself and turned over management of the DOJ to the deepstate Obaman/Clintonista insurgency. [Spit!]

Calling people stubborn who disagree is about the weakest, most pathetic argument there is, if you can even call it an argument.

He is saying Trump supporters only support Trump because they are unable or unwilling to see or admit “the truth”.

This prick of an author can go f himself.

I couldn’t be PTrump. The man is taking Iwo Jima with his posse.

One for the ages. In the face of destruction.

He is simply a force of nature.

The vexxine-injured need to see POTUS candidate Trump as their champion, one way or the other. He can’t deny they exist.

Same with those who lost family/loved ones killed by the vexxine. Trump needs to mourn their loss.

Suburban women shaking with fear.

A candidate who knows how to hold a bat.

What else you got, BD?

Am saying—Trump looks as if he is not going to tone it down. If he gets elected, it’ll be because the electorate wants him unleashed.

But, can he win in 2024?

He won in 2020. Should be a cakewalk, but for massive fraud.

Too much self inflicted baggage.

Time for him to work on his library. He got a lot done. Roe vs Wade. Taught Conservatives how to fight. DeSantis learned from him. Hopefully, DeSantis will be our next President.

He did not win in 2020

The “election” alleged to be fraudulent has no Constitutional existence. The 50 State Legislatures which appoint 535 Electors (and Congress, which appoints 3) have all adopted the custom of having people voting as the means by which the appointments are normally made, but this creates 51 elections, not one.

Those 51 elections occur at the direction of, and are subservient to, 50 legislatures and Congress. The States unwisely granted Congress 3 Electors by ratifying the XXIII Amendment in 1960, so Congress does have supervisory power OVER THOSE THREE, but not otherwise.

There is only one Presidential election in the Constitution, it takes place in December, there are 538 voters, and in December 2020 Biden got 306 of them and was elected President.

No State Legislature objected that its Electors were not the ones they had appointed. No State Legislature even convened to consider the matter. In the case of Pennsylvania, the Legislature fled to avoid considering the matter.

It has never been alleged that a single one of the 306 votes for Biden/Harris was a forgery, that the Electors who casted them were impersonating someone else, or that the Legislatures had secretly appointed other Electors.

There is zero space for an allegation of fraud in the Constitutional Presidential election of December 14, 2020.

As far as the 51 elections which occurred on November 3, 2020, they may very well have been rife with fraud, but since the appointment power of the 50 State Legislatures (535) and Congress (3) is plenary, that’s a problem for those legislatures to deal with should they choose to do so.

That is a very cogent and pithy explanation of what happened.
