President Donald Trump teased the first rally of his 2024 presidential campaign bid this week on Truth Social, previewing the excitement ahead for those traveling to Waco, Texas, on Saturday to catch a glimpse of “your favorite President.”
“GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOTS from all over our beautiful U.S.A are already traveling to WACO, TEXAS for this Saturday’s TRUMP RALLY, featuring your favorite President, ME!” Trump wrote. “See you there!”
The president also previewed the presence of artist Vanessa Horabuena, known for painting portraits that she describes as a blend of “beauty of art and worship.”
He shared, “Vanessa will be with us in Texas on Saturday, on stage before I speak. She is amazing! Maybe we will auction off her painting? Rally will be BIG!”
Trump’s rally marks the first of his trademark rallies for 2023 and his 2024 presidential campaign. The rally will be held amid the chaos surrounding the president’s potential indictment and arraignment by the Manhattan district attorney’s office over old allegations related to the “many times debunked” Stormy Daniels case in 2016.
Trump slammed the case on Thursday, ripping Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his refusal to “drop” the investigation:
“WHY WON’T BRAGG DROP THIS CASE? EVERYBODY SAYS THERE IS NO CRIME HERE. I DID NOTHING WRONG! IT WAS ALL MADE UP BY A CONVICTED NUT JOB WITH ZERO CREDIBILITY, WHO HAS BEEN DISPUTED BY HIGHLY RESPECTED PROFESSIONALS AT EVERY TURN. BRAGG REFUSES TO STOP DESPITE OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY. HE IS A SOROS BACKED ANIMAL WHO JUST DOESN’T CARE ABOUT RIGHT OR WRONG NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE HURT. THIS IS NO LEGAL SYSTEM, THIS IS THE GESTAPO, THIS IS RUSSIA AND CHINA, BUT WORSE. DISGRACEFUL!”
As reported by RSBN, Trump’s upcoming rally is projected to bring in whopping crowds, with the Waco Tribune-Herald sharing that local Republican leaders have been advised to expect up to 10,000 people at the Waco Regional Airport, where the event is being held.

Grew up in the 60's in the Chicago burbs. By the time I was in the 3rd grade I knew dead people could vote.
Now I live in the DC suburbs and have been bugging my local Repub party to look at the possibility of cheating and protect against it.

If you have been to a Trump rally before, ignore my following advice.
I have been to 4 rallies and learned additional pro tips with each appearance.
Avoid the bum rush that will happen as the majority of the people will arrive in about the same time frame of a few hours before the interior doors or gates open.
That is a different time frame than when the exterior gates or doors open! This is an important distinction.
Personally, I like to get in line with my vehicle on the day of the event well before the gates open which means no later than around the crack of dawn.
After getting onto the grounds there will be a corral that is essential for a back-and-forth pathway with temporary fencing forming all boundaries leading up to the metal detectors.
People that have been camping out for more than a day waiting to get in will already be filling up the corridors. This will continue for hours on end until the interior “doors” or “gates” are opened.
If enthusiasm is high the heavy traffic will form traffic jams that will surprise many of the drivers and delay their entry, first onto the grounds, and second into the venue.
Many will not make it into the venue because of this overwhelming turnout.
There may be as many as two or three times the amount of people stuck outside the venue, as there are inside because of the huge turnout.
Jumbotrons will be set up for this very reason. Many people will realize that they aren’t making it in, but will be satisfied to be among their own kind and will consider their appearance as a form of peaceful protest expressing their first amendment rights and a big middle finger to all things against Trump. It will be invigorating!
Standing in line for hours upon hours on end is excruciating. Don’t do it. Bring a chair or 5 gallon bucket to sit on and a throw-away seat cushion. The US Secret Service, in conjunction with the DHS TSA agents, will prohibit the entry of all sitting devices and they will be abandoned at the final entry point by the thousands.
Food and water... bring plenty of bottled water, and food and snacks accordingly. Pace your food consumption in a way that finds you empty-handed by the time you get to the metal detectors. Use a disposable bag such as a plastic grocery bag to carry things inside, then it can be ditched or stuffed in a pocket.
Diuretics like coffee, tea, or caffeinated soda pop... if you imbibe, know that there will be consequences to your actions (lol), and entering and exiting the line takes on new dimensions so it helps to use caution in the consumption and to have a companion that can save your place in line or arrangements can be made with your neighbors in line either in front or in back of your place.
The people in line with you will be from all over the United States. This demonstration of support and patriotism is an instant boost to morale.
There will be port-a-johns that will degrade rather quickly with the swelling crowd.
Concessionaires will be available to sell food, drinks, and souvenirs. If you buy stuff, you’ll have to carry it the whole time or take it back to your car, or be disappointed to find out at the last minute that it is prohibited. The jumbotrons will display all the rules.
My friend made a sign out of a pillowcase attached to a tall pole that said “ FBI Check In Here” that he carried while in line and then abandoned it at the metal detectors. We made a lot of friends with that sign.
We met the guy that wears the brick suit, while forming up to get in line. I think he said his name is Jason.
VIP... there was a line that formed up parallel to the general admission line that had local politicians, donors, volunteers, etc, getting first dibs on the seating. Also, handicapped people and media types had special access before the rest of us were let inside the venue. IF you can find out how to use the VIP gate... do it!
Once through the metal detectors, there was an unknown interior barrier that everyone started piling up against and the security guards decided to open the gate at random times to let waves of people into the arena containing folding chairs and bleacher seating. This process was NOT at all equitable as people that had just got there made it inside the inner sanctum and my friend and I that had got there at the crack of dawn, never got past this final barrier and it was very disappointing.
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Once inside and the speakers begin, cease reporting. It will distract from the moment and vibe. By all means, report your experiences up to this key point.
I am reporting based on attendance at an outdoor rally on Jan. 6th, in DC, an outdoor rally in January, in Florence, AZ, an indoor rally in the Veteran’s Coliseum, Phoenix, AZ, and an outdoor rally in Fountain Hills, AZ.
