Taras and Olha were both Jewish and met when they were just eight years old. They married at 25 and shared a life. Like so many other Ukrainians of various ages and professions, they both volunteered for military service, in their case, on the very first day of the Russian invasion back in February 2022.

Couple Schmouple. Never happened.
Sad for any young couple to have such a shortened life together. There are likely similar stories of Russian lovers doing near the same. Usually, when one partner wants to run into active battle, there is a balancing counter-force, with the other partner not wishing to, because this partner wants to plan for their future, not just the immediate present.
Perhaps they became equally, even morbidly pesimistic together, thinking if Ukraine was ended as they knew her, they too would cease to exist. Sort of a sort term ‘All or Nothing’ attitude, often seen in teenagers or 20 y/os.
One can also wonder if these two had no spiritual souce of strength, meaning, did they place any faith in any sort of religion, did they draw any strength from what is not seen with our basic five senses? Most likely not much.
“This article is a lie.”
Should you be proving that then? Should you just post the evidence that it isn’t true?
“The event didn’t happen,”
Okay, and your evidence for that is....what? Seriously, if you think this is a false story why aren’t you posting the evidence?
” yet here you are arguing as if it’s true.”
Arguing? I asked one person two questions - a person who clearly took the article as if it were true! Why aren’t you attacking him? I then commented that the couple was a cute couple. What is wrong with you?
“What’s wrong with you?”
Clearly nothing. Seriously, what is wrong with you that you continuously make a jackass out of yourself?
Cute thar they have been together since they were 8 but what kind of man would allow his wife to fight in a war? Maybe I’m just old fashioned but I just wouldn’t want my wife or daughters (if I had them) fighting on the front lines in trenches.
not as cannon fodder
I still dont speak of most of it
Man looks a few years older than the woman.
You need YESHUA in your life.
100 percent agree.
I agree. Give Russia the occupied territories of Ukraine plus Crimea. Then build nuclear missiles and aim them at Moscow and St. Petersburg. Right now Ukraine is not landlocked and they still have Odessa so that's important. Of they keep fighting, their population will get completely depleted.
I understand that but I think I can deal with living under the Russians. They're sadistic. So just shut up and mind your own business. They're not like the Muslims or the Nazis (under Adolf Hitler).
Think of how much worse it would have been if they hadn’t gotten the jabs.
Instead of Ukraine propaganda, how about sharing news about Americans killed or injured by illegal aliens in the US?
You’re right he does look much older. Like every story that comes out of Ukraine these days it’s most likely propaganda anyways.
The way I hear it around these parts, they musta been Jewish Nazis.
How many Jews stayed to fight for Ukraine? Most were evacuated to Israel early on. And right after they evacuated them Zelensky closed the borders and forced conscription on the rest of the population from teens to old men. If I was Ukrainian you can be sure that would p*ss me off. So Zelensky puts a cute story out to say look we got Jews fighting for us too in hopes of warding off any antisemitism that might result from his actions. Yeah well we’ll see how that works after the war when Ukraine is left in shambles. Those Jews who evaccuated might want to stay in Israel for their own safety.
