Complaining about his support for sitting POTUS Fore over challenger Reagan almost fifty years ago makes no sense. Ford gave us Carter which gave us Reagan at the right time.

I point that out to show that he has NEVER been with us. And NEVER changed. He STILL supports worthless, moderate, milquetoast candidates.
Not sure I follow. If he was a Libertarian or a Green Party member, then one of those would be chosen.

Great news! That SOB was in charge of the Senate in 2015 and 2016 when Obama was President. Both years the Senate recessed normally throughout the year.
When Trump was sworn in, McConnell kept the Senate IN SESSION the entire Trump presidency to prevent Trump from making recess appointments. He let Obama do it, but roadblocked Trump.
Glad to see that trash go away.

As long as he can mutter ‘yea’ or ‘nay’ he is still able to remain in the Senate. Maybe not as minority leader but certainly as a Senator.
He could step down as minority leader at any time and the Pubbies would just elect a new leader. No great panic, even though the media would like one.

We find ourselves in agreement. Mitch may have singlehandedly saved the Republic with his strong and deft handling of court appointments. All other criticisms pale in comparison.
