Bureaucrats leading various government agencies are raising concerns about the potential impact of steep expenditure cuts included in a Republican-backed budget proposal.
Nearly 20 agencies, including the Departments of State, Treasury, Housing and Urban Development, Education, as well as the Social Security Administration, and several others, have written letters in recent weeks warning of consequences of returning to 2022 spending levels for their offices next year.

See how this works. If you keep spending at CURRENT levels, they consider that a CUT in expenditures.
Because they EXPECTED a large, multiple-percentage increase. And then of course, that increase becomes the new baseline for the next year, and so on.
Spiraling out of control.
The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.

Budgets should not remain flat. They should be cut to pre-COVID levels. That souls only apply to agencies that still exist after being defunded and shuttered.
Don’t just cut the budget, slash the hell out of it and send these parasites home and to prison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fear Mongering is the only tool these Marxists know.
Because the facts and the truth do not support their lies.
Bureaucrats are supposed to be accountable and answer agency inquiries.
They ALWAYS DO!....................
The Republicans have been suffering “dire consequences” since 80 million Banana Boater Voters “elected” the Demented Pedophile with millions of fraudulent banana boat ballots (BBB) and corrupted “voting machines”.
Bureaucrats Warn of Dire Consequences...like them losing their jobs???
They should all resign in protest.
That’d show us!
Of course the expected sloganeering: “gutted”, women, infants, elderly, wounded, cruel — these 2 x 4s are wielded every time. How convenient that a commie rep from the 1970s asked the bureaus what effects would result from brutal cuts.
“various government agencies are raising concerns”
Who gives a phoook what the bureaucrats say?
The Congress controls, NOT them.
Bring back ZERO based budgeting-
Make the case and approve/deny each and every item, every year.
Stop being stupid and trying for a 3% increase rather than a 7% increase, which the democrats (successfully) call a ‘cut’ in spending.
Just say a FREEZE in current spending levels until a balanced budget is achieved.
THEN announce the ‘penny plan’ - ANY budget could cut 1% spending if they tried, and if they say they can’t then they are not really trying.
Most people agree the government is too large.
All the more reason to cut EVERYTHING!
IF they shut the whole fricken’ place down tomorrow, it wouldn’t make a lick of difference to me...other than the postal snail mail.
Those letters are reason enough to cut spending. They should do more. Say cut 5% across the board of the 2022 budget and cut more the following years. Government is just too damn big for the good of the nation!!!
Just another example of the government taking care of it’s own.
Everytime a bureaucrat dies, an angel gets its wings.
