Trump does not sound like he is doing well. He DOES sound desperate. I feel bad for him.
I read Trump’s comment as “here is what the Democraps will accuse you of” rather than him making the accusation. Although I think it would have been better had President Trump not said it at all.
As of today, I’m voting for DeSantis in the primary if he runs. If Trump wins the nomination I will vote for him over whatever stiff the Dems nominate, but I’m tired of his antics. Trump is patriot, but he has poor judgement. His unprovoked attacks on DeSantis ring hollow and only make him look petty, insecure, selfish and weak. Why did Trump expect DeSantis to back him after slandering DeSantis for the last several months? And DeSantis did support him in this current judicial travesty, but makes one joke at Trump’s expense and Trump loses his mind.

DeSantis is alienating me more and more every day. There was no reason to play games over the allegations against Trump. He clearly tried to smear the frontrunner to score some cheap political points.
DeSantis can’t legally run for president unless he resigns as governor. It would be completely selfish for him to do this, but it appears he is going to. He will not get elected president if he does, but he may build a massive political war chest while throwing away the governorship and any chance of being president. He may also damage Trump’s campaign, which is probably where a lot of his support comes from.
DeSantis should have been positioning himself for a future presidency. He might have made a good VP pick for Trump at one point. It’s probably already too late.

in 2015 I was preoccupied with helping someone else with medical care so I didn’t really follow the campaign. There was some rediculously boring pissing match between Trump and some MSM talking head (something about bleeding eyeballs?) which went on far too long and made me tune out for some months. This sounds like a repeat but is even worse as it is between 2 candidates on supposedly the same side.
