Donald Trump Jr. and others criticized Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for dismissing the rumors of a looming indictment of former President Donald Trump at the hands of leftist Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as a “manufactured” circus that he wants no involvement in, concluding that the governor is displaying “weakness.”
DeSantis weighed in on the news of the looming indictment during Monday’s press conference, stating that he is aware of the rumors of the indictment but has not seen any “facts” yet.

Saying nothing is weak. Saying weak stuff is weak.
He is being criticized for demonstrating weakness.
At this point, I think it’s pretty safe to say that Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels had some sort of physical interaction years ago. I mean, come on. We can all agree on that can’t we?
This is getting ridiculous. Trump announced his arrest was imminent. Then he walked it back saying that he wasn’t going to be arrested this week but maybe later. Then he blasted anyone who did not immediately jump in to condemn the DA for something he hasn’t done yet. Is the Manhattan DA a political hack? Yes. Is he planning on bringing charges against Trump? Probably. But Trump expecting senior elected Republicans to condemn things that haven’t happened based on his speculation is ridiculous. If and when it happens, they’ll have something to say. As much as I like Trump, this “your weak because you aren’t as bombastic as me” act is getting old.

1. Maybe if you knew what you were talking about this might be Trump. The MAGA PAC is run by a Trump hater that actually provided testimony at one of Trump’s impeachments.
2. It is true that DeSantis is running a shadow run for the Presidency against Florida law. The Florida Senate President even said so. She also said that he should be able to and they were going to change the law for him.
But facts are facts. I liked DeSantis a lot this morning. I live in Florida and he has done some great stuff. Now I don’t think he will fight the Establishment. This re-enforced my believe that he is a tool of the establishment. Sad really.

Meanwhile, as per 2022 10% of Republicans won't vote for Trump and if it's Desantis at least 10% won't vote for him out of spite.

If it was happening to you, and you might be able to head the DA off at the pass by spillin’ the beans on social media, avoiding the embarrassment of an arrest, would you do it?
See, it’s easy to opine about what someone should have done with the benefit of hindsight - ESPECIALLY if you’re not the one who’s gonna get his door kicked in.
Sure, it would be better for him to come out and declare now but there are numerous reasons to wait. Let Trump finish imploding first, which is is doing. Besides why compete for airtime when Trump has it all, even sidetracking Biden Crime family.
