If DeSantis decides to run in 2024, I predict his campaign will flame out once people figure out he’s the same type of craven, calculating politician they’ve come to despise.

Pence was the ‘insurance policy’, loyal to butt buddies Paul RYNO and Romney, who took out Gen. Flynn before he had a chance to bring the deep state to heel.
I just don’t trust Desantis to not be another Pence.

Has Gov Sarah Sanders made a statement decrying the possible indictment(s) of her former boss....the guy who put her on the map, and, over the finish line, in her recent Gov win?
I sure didn’t care for her ‘we need a new/younger generation’ line, in her Repub SOTU rebuttal.
It echoes what we’ve heard from RINO Haley.
Not a good look.

Trump has been a real dick to DeSantis. The Governor owes Trump no favors re: fighting extradition to NY. But if Ron does nothing, his shot at POTUS is over. Not just for 2024 but forever.
The deep state could not have fashioned a better conundrum. They also think it clears the table of both of them so that they can push a designated loser like pence or sununu, ensuring muppet joe is re-elected.

Looking at “Political Roadmaps” 20 months out is navel gazing at best, but it is fun and gives political writers something to write about in years with no national elections and only a few state & local with national interest.
That said, I consulted my favorite political cartographer and and after much studying and pondering, she showed me her maps.
The "Roadmap" to the GOP nomination was like a path that was very narrow & curved with several blockages, but in the end it showed the nominee to be ABT. That is Anyone But Trump.
The "Roadmap" to the White House was more like a freeway with the finish line painted a bright BLUE.

Trump addressed the nation three years ago and told us we couldn’t gather in groups of ten or more, then funneled billions into the pharma cartel for our own good
Of course people burning down cities could gather.
Trump asked us to restrict our travel, but his unvetted Syrians were exempt.
Then, to ensure continued tyranny, he gave them mail in ballots.
His bumpstock ban saved lives as well. Just ask him.
Who in their right mind would vote for a man who took more freedoms from us than Obama.
Desantis is silent because he is busy restoring freedoms that trump took from us three years ago.

Trump never forced anyone to do anything. DeSantis actually did.
If DeSantis is spending any time “restoring freedoms” today, it’s because he previously took them away himself.
I hope someone is paying you to post this idiocy, because you come across as a silly fool if you’re doing it for nothing.

Good point. That “Yale guy” has said that he refuses to hang his law school diploma in his office … and said he considers his education there a waste of time.

Indeed, all the more reason, to not lash out at a person over Ivyitis.
I worked with really smart Ivy guys. They're very good. I also worked with smart non-Ivy guys. They're good, too.
Now, being a card-carrying leftist or statist....welll...that's a well-defining label.

This is typical of the pro-Santis thinking; basically they idealize the alternative to the point that he is the best of all the others. Then they make the best the enemy of the good, saying “Trump has too much baggage,” or “ We need a new face.”
But James Brown once said:”Reality don’t never lie.”
Once DeSantis’s feet touch the ground, the shine will dull. The dems typical viciousness will not diminish. Details will come out about his past—and half of these will be lies that will take years to dismiss.
Trump has already endured this. He has already set the course for restoring the country. He was robbed and smeared, but he still comes on.
Get him elected. Let him draw on his experience to purge the swamp. Expose the liars that stabbed him in the back. Make his enemies eat their dirt.
Then it’s De Santis’s turn.
