Elon Musk Shines Light On Soros Connection To Trump Indictment
Conservative Brief ^ | March 19, 2023 | Carmine Sabia

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has weighed in on what many believe is the impending indictment of former President Donald trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg by shoving George Soros under the bus.

It came in response to a tweet by popular conservative Twitter commentator Catturd who said “Corrupt New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg received $1 million from Soros in his election for NYC DA.”

Musk responded by basically laying out the game that Soros plays to effect policy in the United States.

“Soros figured out a clever arbitrage opportunity: The many small political contests, such as DAs & judges, have much higher impact per dollar spent than the big races, so it is far easier to sway the outcome,” he said.

And it is a well known fact that Soros’ money is behind several high profile district attorneys in the nation whose campaigns he assisted with funding and they are all far left.

And Musk was not the only one to call out Soros for his connection to the district attorney.

“Alvin Bragg is bought by George Soros. He allows violent criminals to walk the streets of New York City, but will prosecute the likely Republican nominee (and former president) on a baseless misdemeanor charge. These people are trying to turn America into a third-world country,” Republican Ohio Sen. JD Vance said.

I’d agree, but I’m still banned on Twiiter.

I wonder how many conservatives, especially those who never violated the terms of service in any way, still are banned.

Wish someone would ask Musk about that.

But we’ll get the republican nominee over a legal payment 7 years ago.

The Left says the payment was illegal, akin to murder or some other heinous crime.

The Right says it was not illegal.

I say it was a business transaction. No big deal.

What does the law say? What makes (whatever Trump did--I'm not even clear on that) legal or illegal?

Facts please. I need some arguments to use against liberal friends.

Thanks for clarification.

Elon Musk reminds me of the founding fathers…..except a lot richer. He sees what is happening.

Some of us have known about Soros paying off politicians, judges, and district attorneys for YEARS. He and Obama have quite a team in destroying this country. And Republican lawmakers haven’t a clue.

That will never happen. No one cares. The ones who do, Soros just writes a check.

Always remember, he was involved with implementing the Holocaust when he was a teenager, helping to strip Jews of their belongings before being sent to the camps.

I'm aware, but the fact that he is nominally liberal (he's actually a hateful misanthrope - but I guess that's not unusual for liberals) and that he's nominally Jewish is enough for the left (including most liberal American Jews) to embrace him.

There is nothing illegal about paying someone money. They are going to claim that because it helped his campaign it therefore was a campaign expense.

But he didn’t use campaign money. And the Federal Election Commission which overseas these things has never charged him with anything.

Thanks.

Is there a law somewhere that says you can't pay people for something you ask them to do / not to do?

Did Trump really break a law? Which law?

Seems like they don't have a case to stand on.

Or is there a "law" somewhere that they are selective enforcing in order to get Trump?

I can't imagine they would prosecute Biden or any Democrat for "breaking" such a law.

Is this a case of

A. Law breaking--which law?
B. Selective enforcement
C. Stupid laws on the books?
(Do we have to make a case before the courts to have that "law" removed/unapplied/declared unconstitutional?)

Anyone can answer.

I just want to understand the facts so that I have the right information on which to base my arguments.

I wonder why there hasn’t been any legislation barring foreign money from U.S. elections. At any level.

$1 million for a DA race?

Are there no contribution limits for races like these?

I think the main objective (for the time being) is to arrest PDJT in order to get the videos of a perp walk, and still shots of him in handcuffs and legs in shackles. The visuals will be used for a decade when vilifying him.

There IS no real case. BlackmailER is the criminal, not the blackmailEE.

Many people were skeptical of J.D. Vance actually being a conservative. When I saw him in East Palestine, Ohio, pointing out the chemical sheen in the creek, I thought to myself, “This guy doesn’t mind stepping up and speaking out”.

So far, he has proven himself more of a conservative than many GOP representatives who have been re-elected time and time again.
