MAGA supporters call for Gov. DeSantis to deploy National Guard to protect ex-president at Mar-a-Lago from possible arrest and plan a 'Patriot Moat' at Florida mansion - as GOP chiefs accuse Manhattan DA of 'abusing his power'

Trump supporters are pushing for a 'MAGA moat' around Mar-a-Lago to prevent the former president from being arrested as they demand that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis defy New York authorities and refuse to extradite Trump.

The ex-president had claimed on his Truth Social platform that he will likely be arrested on Tuesday on criminal charges related to payments he made to porn star Stormy Daniels.

He even urged his supporters to 'protest, protest, protest' as he raged online about the legal case, causing many to show up at his Florida estate with signs, banners and even their own boats.

Now, some MAGA conservatives are demanding that DeSantis refuse to extradite Trump to a 'Soros DA' until the Florida government can conduct its own investigation — with some even saying the governor should call in the Florida National Guard to protect Trump.

But so far, DeSantis has remained quiet about the potential arrest, even as other Republicans line up to denounce the possible indictment as an 'abuse of power.'

Among those calling for action are political commentator Mike Cernovich and radio host Stew Peters.

Cernovich, for his part, demanded that DeSantis refuse to extradite the former president, even offering a statement for the Florida governor to use.

'I will not extradite a presidential candidate to a Soros DA who allows violent criminals to roam free until there has been a proper legal review conducted under Florida law,' he offered. 'If lawful, then extradition may occur, but not one day sooner.'

Political strategist and former radio host Joey M. also tweeted 'if DeSantis signs that extradition request, his political career as we know it would be over. He’d be worse than Pence.

A Trump Militia? Kind of like the Mahdi Army of Iraq?

Arresting President Trump is an easy way to get him away from his SS protection, unless they agreed to go to prison with him. I don’t want to see him Jeffrey-Epsteined while in prison.

I’m praying for Trump because America needs him badly.

So, what was she paid for?

And yes, an affair would consist of some sort of relationship.

My guess is this “relationship” lasted about 8 minutes. It was an expensive few minutes.

Can you be extradited for a misdemeanor? Would love to know the answer.

"That’s the first time I mention that here. You’re hilarious. No, he endorsed McDaniel. He did not endorse Dillion at all even the slightest. Making stuff up doesn’t make it true."

It is silly. Dems want Trump supporters to go crazy and look foolish. Apparently they’re dumb enough to fall for it.

Extradition between states for indicted persons is written as a requirement into the Constitution. There are only limited ways a governor can deny to extradite someone who is charged elsewhere, and I am aware of no legal way Gov DeSantis could resist his extradition assuming the documentation of the charge and extradition request meet the plain and simple requirements of the law.

That statement is what is known in the vernacular as a “cop out”. Trump always liked to slam “losers” and yet not slamming Ronna McDaniel, the ultimate loser, is tantamount to a endorsement under the circumstances. Another poor pick by Trump.

So he should bend over backwards to help Trump who has been shitting all over him for months? Loyalty goes 2 ways. Trump has shown none for anyone but himself.

I’m a Trump supporter but I have to say that Trump does NOT need DeSantis to defend him against a NONEXISTENT indictment, NONEXISTENT charges and NONEXISTENT extradition attempts. Soros’ operative (Manhattan DA) Alvin Bragg is clearly shooting blanks with his possibly non-cooperating grand jury.

By the way, before I hit the Post button for this comment I made one last attempt using Duck-Duck-Go to find an actually existing indictment, charge or extradition activity and still find NOTHING.

Yeah chickanus, if you read the way we got there, David Erase insisted Trump shat on Harmeet, and that was, frankly, unfactual. And therefore I was compelled to punch down on him, as I often do.

So where is your place in this punch-down order, because I can make room for you.

Punch down away. So far I haven’t seen you write anything compelling enough to even call it a slap, let alone punching down. Ha, it’s more akin to flailing while standing on clown stilts.

Yeah……..look at the date.

AFTER THE ELECTION JAN 2023!

Before the vote for Chair Trump had endorsed McDaniel for the Republican Party Chair.

Clearly you know it was wrong or you wouldn’t be trying to cover up with hogwash.

Trump’s second marriage was a result of his adultery during his first marriage. That’s what I was referring to, not to Daniels who is either an extortionist or a blackmailer. I’m hoping it’s the former, but I’m not naive, and he does have a past when it comes to unfaithfulness. If the latter, adultery is far worse than a young man attending a party at which nothing he did was out-of-line as per some of the attendees.

Can you sincerely apply the same standards to each man, if the names were reversed? This is a question for you to fully consider without answering to anyone but yourself.
