Well, if we’re criminalizing “ hush money” for noncriminal private activity between 2 consenting adults….alleged
then the American taxpayers deserve a full list of every member of Congress or other govt employee that received tax dollars to pay off accusers of sexual misconduct.

I looked at the NY law several years ago and the amount paid to the blonde was below the legal tipping point as I recollect.
It may be disgusting to have to pay off an odious person to effectively exercise Amendment I rights, but it was Trump’s lawful choice.
