Poll: Nearly Half of Americans Do Not Expect Return to ‘Pre-Pandemic Normalcy’
Breitbart ^ | 03/17/2023 | KATHERINE HAMILTON

Posted on 03/17/2023 12:36:45 PM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Three years after the coronavirus pandemic began and authoritarianism strengthened around the world, nearly half of U.S. adults (47 percent) say they do not expect their lives to “return to pre-pandemic normalcy,” a Gallup News poll found.

That percentage was the same in October 2022 and is slightly down from July and August 2022 when 53 percent of U.S. adults said they do not expect their lives to return to the way they were before the pandemic. Results of the poll are based on self-administered web surveys conducted February 21-28 with 5,167 adults. The margin of error is ±2 percentage points at the 95 percent confidence level:

Three years into the pandemic, just one-third of Americans say their lives are completely back to normal, while 47% say their lives will never return to pre-pandemic normalcy. https://t.co/aOGsKDgzdA

They need to stay home with three masks on and leave me alone. People are so damaged.

I have no intention of ever returning to “pre-pandemic normalcy.”

Just saw someone walking, alone, outside, by himself, wearing a mask.

A while ago, I saw a guy on his motorcycle, by himself, wearing a mask. Oh, and shorts and no helmet.

And they never will.

Meanwhile, the rest of us did a while ago.

Ha! I never bought into the pandemic crap and pretty much went about my life as normal. I wore a mask the absolutely bare minimum amount to get into the grocery store and doctor’s office. Never, ever wore one outside or in my car.

I got more hiking in during the spring of 2020 than ever before because the parks were completely empty and the skies not full of airplanes.

I was already retired by March 202, but, when my wife’s office closed on March 16 and they were threatening to keep people from leaving California, my wife grabbed the dog, hopped in her car, and drove to our North Idaho place.

We reduced our going to crowded events in 2020, but in 2021 we were back at all of our normal events and dinner parties having a fun time.

The only thing that depresses me are 1) still seeing idiots walking or driving alone with masks on, 2) the nonstop “Sky is falling” barrage of pandemic crapola, and 3) Fauci will never be held to account.

We had almost hurricane force winds on Wednesday this week on the San Francisco Peninsula. Fresh air was blowing in your face at a steady 25 mpg. There is zero chance of catching anything outdoors. Yet, I saw them, too, walking in the hurricane alone with their masks on.

Freaking feeble-minded idiots.

85% of Americans obey without question. They are happy to sniff crumbs from their ruling class’ garbage can.
Holocaust level obedience without question.

Now the population will be faced with food shortages and Famine. We should have noticed the gov’t administrators are now making references to eating insects for protein and composting humans. Can you image how many cockroaches can live off a composted human? See where this is going?
Since the Dems and Obozo/Biden white house have destroyed the American Energy Industry; fertilizer is unaffordable to the World Farm Industry due to the cost of Nitrogen. Without Nitrogen, the main element in fertilizer, food production is going to be cut more than half. Most of the Nitrogen is made from Natural Gas and it was inexpensive but now it is not cost effective now for the farmers to use Nitrogen during preplant and post plant application because the price per ton has quadrupled. So food shortages will appear shortly because marginal land has been taken out of production since Nitrogen is so expoensive. The only alternative is insects raised on human compost. Many people thought this was a joke, think again, the passive remarks by gov’t administrators were not in jest, its here and will only get worse.

It's not the masks and the social distancing that's the issue. People exposed their Pfascist selves during the Scamdemic, the Democrat Riots of 2020, and the Stolen Election of 2020.

They took off their masks, threw them on the ground, and stomped on them. Their neighbors, former friends, and some family now want nothing to do with them.

Similar experience for us. We live in Wyoming and friends of ours in Cali hunkered down when the state closed up three years ago. They figured it was just for two weeks.

Then there were people being told to stay in their homes, people were getting arrested for walking around in public, and our friends packed up their RV and lived with us until spring of 2021. Then they sold their place in Cali and moved to Idaho.

First thing they did was to go buy his & hers Ar-15s!!!

Great story! Where did they land in Idaho? We are in Hayden Lake. Nice of you to take your friends and their RV in for a year until they could figure out next steps.

We were fortunate (maybe) to be able to keep our California place where I am right now with doors open and birds singing. I like mild winters. My wife is in Hayden now and never wants to set foot in CA again. She went skiing yesterday at Silver..

The San Fran reparations crap and the natural gas crap may be my breaking point. I can’t stand waking up every day to another new bit of liberal lunacy.

Interesting tidbit…CA went nuclear against COVID. ID did not. Results were exactly the same!
