No other details were given but China has declared a 'no-limits' friendship with Russia and refused to condemn Moscow's invasion of Ukraine - while declaring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries be respected.

The Kremlin on Friday also announced the visit, saying it will take place 'at the invitation of Vladimir Putin'...... The visit, Putin said, could 'demonstrate to the whole world the strength of the Russian-Chinese ties' and 'become the main political event of the year in bilateral relations'.

Beijing's foreign ministry did not confirm whether Xi also planned to hold a rumoured call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky when asked at a routine press conference on Friday.

Xi, aiding and abetting a perpetrator of war crimes

Xi, as a co-conspirator, should be labeled a world criminal himself, and arrested before he heads back to China.

Total power move by Xi. He is going to eat Putin’s lunch on Putin’s home turf.

China already has lots of blood on its hands, from the way they treated the Hong Kong protestors, the Uigyurs in western China, any political protestors, etc.

“birds of a feather ...”

Ninety-seven percent of Russia’s combat power is tied up in Ukraine. They have stripped their Pacific borders with all nations. China probably wants a deal for that territory. They’ll trade all the weapons and ammunition Russia needs for all the territory on their borders. Russia will not be able to refuse. Also, the smaller countries making up the Russian federation have been problematic since day one. China has been gaining influence there since the Belt and Road initiative. Putin either agrees to give up territory or he loses in Ukraine. Xi has to come home with a win to stay in power. I don’t think the world is ready if this happens.

If you look at the Chinese/Russian border on satellite photos, you’ll see the Chinese side looks built up like a huge city. The Russian side is empty land. Many Chinese have illegally immigrated onto the Russian side so in many cases Chinese is the commonly spoken language. Also, there’s a lot of historic connections at least as great as the historic connection between Russia and Ukraine. I can see Putin’s Ukraine-is-historically-Russian arguments playing out badly for him on the Chinese border.

I’m telling you, these guy’s have been reading George Kennan. China, Russia and BRICS+ are in the process of containing the cancer of woke, green, pervo, Western globalism. The walls are closing in on them.

Same could be said of the US and EU as Ukraines also guilty of war crimes.

Secret wartime files made public only in 2006 reveal that American GIs committed 400 sexual offenses in Europe, including 126 rapes in England, between 1942 and 1945. A study by Robert J. Lilly estimates that a total of 14,000 civilian women in England, France and Germany were raped by American GIs during World War II.

And to think there were “Conservatives” including many patriotic Freepers who thought these one-sided trade deals with China were a good idea.

So much for the “Greatest Generation” myth. WAR IS HELL. There are no “War Crimes” War is a Crime. The only crime is losing. We will regret what we did at Nuremberg when its our guys are in the dock and hung for “War Crimes” (after we lose). Imagine a Judge and jury of Russian officers? We better get ready because the Nut cases in Washington —in Both Parties—are pushing us into a World War. They are thinking—like WW I that it will all be over in a few Weeks—They are wrong. Enjoy the war fever, the sound of drums, flags and rush of patriotic zeal. Hollywood will be patriotic for a time—we will see Transsexuals in Uniform marching off, with People of color, to save Democracy and Biden. It will be fun until—it isn’t. Millions will die.

Name the war crimes committed by the U.S. and/or Ukraine?

BTW, which country invaded the other? Which country is abducting children? Which country is indiscriminately bombing people's homes and businesses and schools and electricity infrastructure and other infrastructure.

—”Russia will not be able to refuse. “

BINGO!!!

Such a deal.

Before the latest Russian attempted land grab, I saw an article where the Russians in the border areas were calling it a “suitcase invasion” by the Chinese.

No need for kinetic action, a simple business transaction will suffice.

Such a deal.

Just replace the word Ukraine with Iraq,.... Russia with the United States, Russian with American, and Putin with Bush, and ask if the U.S. government would have recognized the legitimacy of any ‘special’ tribunal established to bring accountability for the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

No American ever faced an indictment before a world court for the dropping of two atomic bombs on Japan or the firebombing of Tokyo or the carpet bombing of Dresden. ....Stalin was never hauled before a tribunal to answer for his voluminous mass atrocities...... This is also why no U.S. officials have ever been prosecuted for decades of war crimes across the globe, from Korea to Vietnam to Central America to Iraq and beyond.......and Putin won’t be either.
