Being a mother and stay at home wife is one of the greatest roles of a woman - and way more liberating than being enslaved in the workplace.
Anyone calling their wives “trade-wife” is a liberal cuck and doesn’t deserve one.
You can go back into the 1800s and find examples of women who wanted to have careers. Go to college. Be a doctor. Go into politics. Start a business. They did it because they really wanted to do it.
Most women didn’t want that. So most women didn’t do that. In the 20th century, it stopped being much of an option. Women were expected to have careers and be “just like men”. Women were sold on the idea that this would “make them happy”.
I have known few happy women.
Going back to traditional ways, and finding a path where one income is sufficient for a family so that one works, and one stays home, would be a real recipe for a lot of happiness. Of course, if a woman wants to start a business, be a doctor, or whatever, no one should stop her. But I think most don’t really want that. They just bow to the expectation that they have to live that life.
In the 21st century, real Women’s Liberation means the freedom to go back to being a housewife.

Trad wives used to have it much tougher, even 70-100 years ago. There was a lot more cleverness needed and there was hard physical work. Such as doing the wash with no machine. Managing family food supply with no refrigerator. Managing cooking fuels such as wood or coal. Managing the heating fuel supply. Sewing clothing and mending them. (with no sewing machine)
As always and today..... managing rambunctious children and educating them up to school age. Or beyond

My wife has been a traditional wife for over 40 years. As a result we have three homeschooled kids and several grandchildren.
One byproduct of wives with careers is a reduction in number of children.

In many places in America, supporting a family on one income would be extremely difficult because of the cost of housing nowadays.
This issue doesn’t get talked about much, but one reason so many wives work nowadays , is because it takes both of their incomes to qualify for a mortgage to buy a house.
It’s funny that all of those women that chose the “independent” I don’t need a man route are now bitching they can’t find a husband. Hitting that wall in their 30’s and 40’s is now stinging. Enjoy your cats and box wine!
That’s because ever since we let them vote the cost of government has gone through the roof and that means higher household income is needed.
