There’s lots of wars going on in the world... in most each side feels they’re the victim. And both sides of all those wars would love to have US taxpayers supply them with weapons and cash.
Google it - lots of wars to choose from.
If we were protecting our own borders most of us might feel more flexible - but we’re not. And we need to protect our own ‘stores’ of war weapons... and supplies.
