The DeSantis administration is revoking the Hyatt Regency Miami's alcohol license after one of its facilities hosted "A Drag Queen Christmas" with minors present in the audience.
According to the complaint, "A Drag Queen Christmas" updated its advertising to say that the show contained "adult content" and was recommended for people 18 and up, unless accompanied by an adult.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation filed a 17-page complaint Tuesday against the show's venue, the James L. Knight Center, which is affiliated with Hyatt. The department said performers were "wearing sexually suggesting clothing and prosthetic female genitalia," as well as simulating masturbation.

No.
No.
Of course not.
Apparently so - just look at some of the responses defending this.
Live porn shows are okay for kids to attend as long as they are with an adult and DeSantis is attacking free enterprise by going after it.
Bingo...
In most states, violation of most if not all criminal statutes is grounds for revoking a liquor license.
I’m glad Governor DeSantis is doing everything he can to attack wokeness and perversion.
I have to say, though, that the people in power are about done with those things.
To preserve the things that matter to them: foreign wars on behalf of alien peoples, dilution of American sovereignty by a “rules based international order”, and unlimited financialization of what’s left of the “economy”, they just might bring forth a champion to get rid of those things they are done with, as long as he doesn’t go after their core issues.
DeSantis has a ways to go to show me he will tear down foreign entanglements, rule by bureaucrats, and send the money center bankers packing.
What the heck? That's how you rationalize this? Exposing children to live porn shows doesn't kill them so that makes it okay?
That's flat out nutty reasoning.
This is not similar to what got the Hyatt in Florida in trouble.
I'm not sure if your scenario is in a restaurant that also sells liquor, ballroom rented for private party, or a bar that sells just liquor, but I'm guessing (if your question is “can a minor enter?”) the answers are yes, yes, and no respectively.
I would comment but it isn’t worth it.
You’re the one defending a bunch of perverts, bucko ... your only possible comment is an abject apology.
I never said that.
Please don’t put words in my mouth.
I’ve said it’s wrong to have children at that kind of show. It’s for adults.
But they didn’t keep kids out.
I know people are worried about children as I am.
And it seems that firearm deaths, that are the number one cause of deaths of children deserves attention.
I know Scott Adams got decommissioned for making a deliberately provocative statement recently.
I took the time to hear his explanation of the context of what he said. I think his point was valid.
I have absolutely no idea what conservative point you are trying to advance by conflating small government with activities that are designed to damage the minds of young children.
The problem is that they allow children to view this perversion.
You went to drag shows? Why?
They WON'T be calling room service for a late night cocktail!
LGBTQP
In most states a liquor license can be revoked for almost any reason having to do with breaching the law or city codes.
What other other possible meaning was there for posting this?
----------------------------------------------------------
Lets see...
How many child gun deaths from firearms last year? 4300
How many children killed by drag shows ? 0

I've been thinking the very same thing.
I guess there's just a proportionate amount of DIM BULB DUMBASSES in today's world and some of those are here on FR.
