I’m in AZ. We don’t change because the last thing we need is another hour of sunshine in the PM. What I dislike is being 3 hours behind the east coast.

As soon as some left-wing nut declares Daylight Savings Time to be racist, poof, it’ll be gone.
Same here and always have. The line between Eastern and Central is just a few miles to the west, so the sun doesn’t come up until 8 in spring and fall. In high summer, it stays light until after 9pm.
I guess it all depends on how close to a line between zones you are, and which side you are on if close.
What purpose is there to DST? Any thoughts of saving candles, electricity or other forms of energy are poppycock. As for that โextraโ hour of daylight, let employers adopt summer hours and with a greater part of the workforce working remotely there is no pressing need even for that. How about we just leave the time just stuck in DST year round and put up with the winter darkness
My work schedule was early hours. Dark whether DST or not.
I might not like losing an hour’s sleep, but I love daylight into the evenings.
I’m feeling okay because I went to bed early last night. I still favor keeping standard time year round. Daylight savings time means I’m driving to work in the dark again. No thanks.
Kind of wish we would follow the rest of the world based on GMT

Yup! It was such a PITA, the wife and me getting ready for work at the same time every morning. We both retired at the same time.๐
All this garbage about the time shift causing health problems in humans is a bunch of crap.

As such, those who opt to do shift work in order to increase their

I love it! And I love it even more in the summer where itโs almost 930 before dark.
