Someone with truly unimpeachable character is very hard to find... I always remember, the powers that be, IMPEACHED falsely the character and life of the Lord Savior.... to the point of His false and public humiliation-crucifixion.

trump has been very clear about his sordid past. His current state of being is that he is less of a cad then he was as a millionaire single, separated or divorced playboy... he still has a mouth on him... which I think most of us like. He is not actually “discreet.” about where he has “sinned” and where he has changed his ways, not at all shy about it.
I think Trump’s ultimate positive impact on our generation and culture will resurrect into something longer lasting and more powerful... I think the sanctimonious twins, pence and de-sanctimonious will experience their own uniquely engineered by God “judas in the potter’s field” experiences politically... and that grieves us all...
but there IS a pattern for the judas types.
Pence is toast.UNLESShe practices some of that pseudo feaux humility and publicly repents... “I did not do my duty as Veep and I improperly certified a stolen election... “
therein lies the path to Pence’s redemption... politically for his former supporters, and I think eternally.
though Judas died... Peter did repent... and the rest is Church history. so did Saul the Christian murderer who Christ called to write much of the New Testament doctrine we have today.

That is not true. President Trump was forced to nominate those who would be confirmed by Congress. Congress was against President Trump from the start.
In your imagined reverse circumstance, Hillary would have been the liar and President Trump is not. Facts matter!
