A top Washington lawyer who served the Clinton and Obama administrations has been identified as the passenger killed on a plane that experienced severe turbulence as it flew over New England last week.
Dana J. Hyde, 55, was one of five passengers on board the aircraft when it diverted to Bradley International Airport in Connecticut after encountering turbulence.
The remaining surviving passengers onboard included Hyde’s husband and son, two crew members.
The high-profile Clinton lawyer, was rushed to a hospital after the plane landed but was pronounced dead.
The FBI is now investigating how the former Clinton staffer died.
“We can confirm that the aircraft was owned by Conexon and that Dana Hyde was the wife of Conexon partner Jonathan Chambers,’ company spokesperson Abby Carere said in an email Monday.
“Jonathan and his son were on the flight also and not injured in the incident,” the email added.
The plane made the reverse journey from Leesburg to Dillant/Hopkins Thursday at approximately 3:49 PM, according to Flight Aware data.
“On 03/03/2023, at approximately 3:49 PM, Connecticut State Troopers responded to a medical assist call at Bradley International Airport. One patient was subsequently transported to an area hospital via ambulance,” a Connecticut State Police spokesperson told The Daily Mail.
“Our agency is assisting as needed; however, the NTSB and the FBI are investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. For further information please contact those agencies directly,” they added.
However, it is still not clear how Hyde died.
Although turbulence can cause for injury for airline passengers despite airline safety improvements, deaths are extremely rare
“I can’t remember the last fatality due to turbulence,” said former Robert Sumwalt, a NTSB chair and executive director of the Center for Aviation and Aerospace Safety at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Officials said NTSB investigators have now removed the plane’s cockpit voice recorder along with the flight data recorder for the investigation.

Can’t muster any sympathy for anyone remotely associated with the Clinton crime family, a top consigliere, this is an occupational hazard.
It's hard to imagine someone seated with a seat belt on could have been tossed towards the ceiling and suffer a fatal neck injury. If that's what happened. Possible but not likely.

reminds me of the mysterious death of Loretta Fuddy, director of Hawaii department of health involved with Obama’s birth certificate. She died, but everyone else survived. What a coincidence.
It all goes back to the obama admin. folks. Clintons were evil, but they got pushback in the media. By the time obama ran, the media was completely united in concealing facts, twisting the narrative, and conspiring to set agendas and get their communist candidates like obama elected.
