Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has issued a statement in response to a new Tennessee law banning drag shows and other “adult cabaret” performances on public properties and other places where they could be seen by minors. The festival promised to continue being a welcoming safe space for “people of all walks of life.”
“Bonnaroo has and always will be a place for inclusivity, a safe haven for people of all walks of life, and a champion of self-expression,” festival organizers said in the statement. “Rest assured The Farm will remain a sanctuary for those freedoms and Bonnaroovians will see no changes in programming or celebration of self-expression at the festival.”

Down on a farm in middle TN.
Mostly just a woodstock style thing.

Problem I have with the festival is few bands I’m gonna sweat in Tennessee summer to see

They seem to get rained out every year.
I’ve never seen or heard of a drag show there but the worm has turned on that

But I was more interested where the real girls were

I grew up two hours from New Orleans
We went 100s of times family visits and business and food
And a couple of those shows
It was like absurd comedy
I actually know quite a few conservatives who voted for Trump to go to bonaroo hate to break it up y’all
I live here and they paid the big bucks to take the nice RV or prevost
I just don’t like the heat in late June
The law doesn’t prohibit drag shows in private venues. Only in public venues where children may gather such as public libraries.
Diversity and inclusion do not mix and I want neither.
The groomers are really feeling full of themselves these days.
I'm of the opinion that rock concerts/festivals don't need to be child-friendly. Really, 13 and up. That was the age I started going to concerts, first with my mom and then with my friends.
Of course, it goes without saying that the transgender lobby is absolutely fighting for access to young children.
Spot on...people visiting the area for the first time have always pegged Johnson City as the most ‘leftist/pro-gay’ of the Tri-Cities.

Drugs everywhere open market I have not been there 30 minutes and I saw a couple screwing in the dirt buck naked like animals
I was 16 years old and we drove about five hours I think from Jackson Mississippi
