I believe Pence has said he would not support Trump. So is Trump the only one who has to take a pledge?

It is very unlikely that the GOP in its present form will allow Trump to be the nominee.

Agreed.
Therefore, the GOP in 2024 will not resemble ANYTHING that it does now.

He’s pretty much admitting that the candidates THEY GIVE US to choose from - are SELECTED - by them.
We are no longer a Representative Republic.

We'd have a majority in the US Senate if Backstab Chrissy had reached out and taken the New Hampshire seat.
He can shut his loser mouth.

she expects the party will ask candidates participating on the GOP debate stage to sign a pledge saying they’ll support whoever eventually clinches the nomination
That is interesting. I wouldn’t sign it either if I was Trump. Lesson learned, test before trusting.

Who is this guy? He’s got his HUHA.
If the Day of Vengeance were upon us I’d say yeah, but that day is still aways away, so yeah, America and the world still has some time left, so yeah, Trump will be the next President.

He’s an a-hole but that doesn’t mean he’s wrong, especially the way Trump has been acting.

Whoever gets the most primary votes gets the nomination.
If backroom deals still had that much power Trump would not have gotten the 2016 nomination. Power brokers can try to fight him but the 2024 nomination is Trump’s to have or lose depending on what the primary voters say.

As a former POTUS should wait until all other candidates take the so called pledge, and then consider it. As far as ,Sonunu, he’s a jack-ass and is mentally deficient if he thinks Trump is not the GOP nominee.

I think Chris Sununu is correct.
If they cannot use the courts to keep President Trump off the ballot and they cannot beat him at the polls, I would not be at all surprised if they do not try to resurrect Charles Julius Guiteau.
