Illegal immigration costs American taxpayers and hospitals billions of dollars in medical costs every year, the Federation for American Immigration Reform pointed out.
Last year, when over 98,000 illegal aliens were encountered in the Yuma, Arizona, border sector, the local hospital found itself providing $26 million in uncompensated care to illegal migrants.
CEO of Yuma Regional Medical Center Robert Trenschel pointed out at a Congressional hearing that many migrants come to America with “significant disease,” and often require major medical treatments, ranging from dialysis to heart surgery.
This strain put on the American healthcare system is by no means limited to Arizona, however. Texans paid up to a whopping $717 million on healthcare costs for illegal immigrants, which was administered by public hospitals, in 2021 alone.
One 2018 study found that Americans were spending as much as $18.5 billion a year on health care for illegal migrants.
Meanwhile, some migrants come to America specifically to access healthcare. Monsi Contreras’s family, for example, came to America illegally so that her mother could access “more advanced treatments” in America after suffering a stroke. In Mexico, her father was a banker and her mother was a journalist.
In another instance, a family crossed the Rio Grande at night with one woman who was confined to a wheelchair.

Hey, no problemo. The poor and elites will be unaffected by this as the middle class will have to bear the burden of that cost and that will also help destroy the middle class.

Almost as much as it costs the taxpayers to fight Jo Jo’s “war” in the Ukraine. A man has to look out for his investments. If you can do it with taxpayer dollars, that’s the way to go.
More like a trillion or more every year when all the costs of illegal,immigration are added up- both direct costs and indirect costs ie family of a slain breadwinner has to get therapy to deal with the issue, they lose time at work, they also had to pay lawyers fees, travel expenses to the trial, food lodging, etc a d various other costs associated with losing their loved one to an illegal
There were two,independent companies that did an estimate back a few decades ago, and they both concluded the real costs were in the neighborhood of $450 billion to $600 billion.
That figure is likely much much higher today given the massive increase of illegals pouring over the borders in recent years

You bet between Ukraine and illegal aliens flooding into the US it’s costing taxpayers hundreds of billions of year.
This is just describing medical costs. There is provision of housing, transportation, food, etc. etc. Every illegal kid is entitled to a free education at taxpayers’ expense, and because of language, will actually cost the school districts’ taxpayers more than provided for American kids.
No one seems to be interested in figuring out the total cost of each illegal. It may well be difficult because the money is coming out of so many pots. And the desire to know such a thing is, of course, racist.

When DirecTV still carried OANN, the costs were estimated at almost 200 billion per year. I think the Washington Examiner was way low in their reporting of the annual cost per year.
So, I was speaking strictly illegal immigrant costs. With Biden's open border policy, it's got to be well over 200 billion now.
Yep...You’d think people would be in the streets over being looted by this open border madness.
