Immunity acquired from a Covid infection is as protective as vaccination against severe illness and death, study finds

The immunity generated from an infection was found to be “at least as high, if not higher” than that provided by two doses of an mRNA vaccine.

Immunity acquired from a Covid infection provides strong, lasting protection against the most severe outcomes of the illness, according to research published Thursday in The Lancet — protection, experts say, that’s on par with what’s provided through two doses of an mRNA vaccine.

Infection-acquired immunity cut the risk of hospitalization and death from a Covid reinfection by 88% for at least 10 months, the study found.

“This is really good news, in the sense that protection against severe disease and death after infection is really quite sustained at 10 months,” said the senior study author, Dr. Christopher Murray, the director of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.

The findings may be a small silver lining to the explosive omicron outbreak of last winter. With so many people infected, many most likely still benefit from that protection against severe disease, Murray said.

Still, experts stress that vaccination is the preferable route to immunity, given the risks of Covid, particularly in unvaccinated people.

“The problem of saying ‘I’m gonna get infected to get immunity’ is you might be one of those people that end up in the hospital or die,” Murray said. “Why would you take the risk when you can get immunity through vaccination quite safely?”

So, except for the most vulnerable, we could have ended this three years ago with some “COVID parties”.

The first wave of COVID deaths occurred with "the most vulnerable" herded into nursing homes where they spread the disease and substandard care killed a large percentage. There was little known about how to treat the illness.

The 2nd wave of deaths of "the most vulnerable" were people herded into taking the mRNA "vaxx". Many succumbed in the first 3 days and were mislabeled "unvaxxed" instead of dead from vaxx adverse event. By this point, hospitals had the death protocol established: 1) wait for a positive COVID PCR 2) put the patient on remdesivir (big $$$) 3) when remdesivir has damaged the kidneys, the lungs become filled with fluid and SPO2% drops 4) intubate and continue raising 02%. By step 4, most patients will be unable to function off the ventilator on "room air". The vigorous ventilation damages the lungs.

Denis Rancourt did an analysis of all-cause mortality and focused on the "death waves" associated with COVID. After adjusting for age and economics, it was was evident that most of the death was caused by ham-fisted government intervention aimed at "the most vulnerable".

Respondent to the topic of the thread, a natural infection with the virus yields a broad base of antibodies to the range of antigens presented by the virus. The "vaxx" generates huge volumes of spike protein ONLY with an antigen basis from the early alpha strain. The spike itself is very damaging and the LNP wrapped mRNA delivery medium allow the spike to invade nearly every organ in the body...some the natural virus can't do. The natural virus must enter using a surface receptor.

After 3 years, my wife & I finally succumbed to Covid this week. We have not been vaxed. Other than the fever…I’ve had much worse colds than this. The fever does drag me down and causes a bad headache…but when the fever is low, I feel fine. Some of our family wanted us to get Paxlovid, but we declined. Not going to risk it. Once past, we will have a strong natural immunity.

I had my 2nd case of COVID in January of this year. A bit more lung involvement. I was managing that with Mucinex (Dextromethorphan, guaifenesin, Phenylephrine HCl) to manage symptoms. I added sulforaphane and no longer needed the Mucinex. It's a broccoli extract.

My daily inputs include 1000 mg vitamin C, 400 mg magnesium, 10000IU D3, 50 mg zinc, 400 mg quercetin, 25 mg iodine (Ioderal), 200 mcg selenium, 500 mcg K2.

Extra supplements while sick: 500 mg bromelain, 650 mg NAC, 50 mg GABA, 50 mg flush niacin. The extra supplements help push my night time SPO2% to 94% as measured by the Fitbit Charge4.

Yet here in Oz the TV was blurting out yesterday that unvaccinated 5 times more likely to die and 8 times more likely to be hospitalised.

Natural immunity if not erased by the Great Vaxxine is much superior to the vaxx for prevention of SADS. What is the comparative good of a vaxxine that kills more of its users than the infection kills?
